The problem is the '-' in the volume group name. I will fix that bug in
the next vzdump release (soon).

Snapshot mode only works if you use LVM2 on /var/lib/vz. What is the output of: # df /var/lib/vz Also, please use the proxmox forum to post proxmox related problems.
