Hi,
could you please post whole engine.log (from the time which you turned off
the host with engine VM) and also vdsm.log from both hosts?
Thanks

Hi all,
We have o hosted-engine deployment with two hypervisors and iscsi for VMS
and NFS4 for the VM engine + ISO + Export.
Yesterday we did an update from ovirt 3.5.3 to 3.5.4 along with OS updates
for the hypervisors and the VM engine.
After that we are unable to clone VMs, the task does
I'm exporting a VM as part of testing backing up VMs and this 75GB VM has
been exporting for 3+ hours. The storage is running gluster on 10GbE so
bandwidth isn't the issue. Importing these VMs from the same export took
roughly 10 minutes. But I'm not seeing any errors. The only thing in the

Hi Gaetan,
Ceph is supported in ovirt 3.6 via cinder. You can try the current beta
build if you are brave.
Check this video about ceph support:

I have a virtual mail security appliance that I am trying to import into oVirt

convert and copy the OS disk only because it expands its self to full size.
The first problem that I have is that the disks expand to

Thanks Donny! That's exactly what needed to be done! I appreciate the
help!
"yum downgrade novnc" dropped it from 0.5.1-2.el6 to 0.4-7.el6.

I wasn't aware of that feature, or at least I don't think I was :-) I
must have had that enabled previously when I was able to connect via

So when I used oVirt 3.4.x noVNC worked wonderfully. We're running
3.5.1.1-1.el6 now and when I try to connect to a VMs console via noVNC I
get this error.

Dear users,
I'm currently looking for a VDI solution. One of the requirements is to use OSS
as most as possible and I think oVirt could do the job.
However, we would like to build this VDI infrastructure on the top of a Ceph
storage with RBD.
I know KVM/Qemu supports rbd protocol but I
Hi all,

connected to a ISCSI storage device, a hosted engine and power
management configured over ILO. So far it seems to work fine in our
testing setup and starting/stopping VMs works smoothly with proper

Hi,
I have tried several times to import a VMware VM from a vcenter installation
but it just seems to hang when I hit the "load" button. I have had a look at
the vdsm.log but there is so much going on (presumably due to debug) it is hard
to distinguish what is happening. Does anyone have any
I did get a "VDSM command failed: local variable 'capacity'
referenced before assignment" error in the events I have just noticed, does
that shed any more light?
