I did. And it didn't help me. I tried several requests like
GET
/ovirt-engine/api/datacenters/{datacenter:id}/storagedomains/{storagedomain:id}/disks/{disk:id}
But there is no virtio-scsi information at all. I suppose the hosted engine
itself does not need to know that information.
The
Host 1 is now back in "normal" mode. It was stuck in preparing for
maintenance because the VM's were not fully under the control of the
cluster. Once I powered off the VM's it finished what it was doing,
rebooted, and is now properly part of the cluster.
However, the main data domain is still in
Hi all
Running RHV 4.1.10 with AD integration (ovirt-engine-extension-aaa-ldap),
I'd like to prevent disabled users from appearing in the Users or
Permissions tab.
In addition, I'd like to exclude "example.com/PROD/Users/Admin" from being
searched for the above, is that possible?
My current
Hi everyone, and thank you again for all of your help.
Here is the latest update in the never ending story.
I worked through NFS woes on my san, configured a throwaway storage domain
to bootstrap the system, and have reconnected the storage domains.
The main data domain is in "Maintenance"

When you click the 'console' button, a 'console.vv' file will download.
Open that file with the native application for your platform. On fedora 28,
I use virt-viewer (for spice)

File permission looks correct. Not sure where it gets failing.
As you suggested, Installed 4.3 ovirt -engine. But unable to add ovir 4.2 host
to oVirtEngine-4.3
Getting this error
"Host's Cluster Compatibility Version doesn't match the Cluster's Compatibility

To precise my question a little bit further: I'm looking for a way to add
several virtio-scsi disks in a specific order via the rest-api and/or to
retrieve information about the virtio-scsi disk adresses from vms via the
rest-api.
thanks!

Thanks Lucie,
a pity since we have academics who create templates
and the admin portal is a bit overkill for them just to create templates. I
will look into ManageIQ or Katello to see whether they will give us a more
suitable solution.

Hi!
We are developing a tool for automated vm rollouts and struggle with the disk
ordering which seems to be completly random?
ie. when creating a vm with 3 disks the order on the virtio scsi bus is
different each time - which of course causes troubles when executing the next
steps.
Thanks
Hello. I am using oVirt 4.2.6.4. I have added successfully one Centos 7.5 host.
I am trying to create a new Storage Domain to add a local storage device on the
host which has an iSCSI target configured on top. Everything seems to proceed
fine, iSCSI target is discovered by oVirt and LUN is
Hello, I'm facing an issue since days regarding SR-IOV.
On a specific configuration, I'm unable to start VM with a VF.

I've enable 63 VF (intel X520-DA2). Engine interface show me :

Hi, there is no plan to add support for templates to VM portal for now.
The portal should stay easy to use with common features for non-admin users.
Best regards,

Yes, if support for it will be added to our OVN solution.
For this to work, we will need:
- Use OVN (external network) solution in oVirt.
- Use OVS cluster in order
