Once you add the nfs storage domain you should be able to go into the
storage domain in ovirt admin and there should be vms tab somewhere. You
should have a list or your vms. Click on each then hit import to import the
config into the new engine.

I appreciate the quick replies. Yes very basic. Single host/node with NFS
and local storage.
I will try to reinstall the host and import. I haven't had to do this yet!

It sounds like your setup is fairly basic. For quickness I’d personally
just reinstall engine and import storage domains from nfs sever then import
the vms. you can restore the hosted engine if you have a backup of it made
by the proper hosted engine backup tool.

I believe I should have the dump from the initial engine-setup. Can that
be used?
Also, I'm only running about 8 vms and need to start over for 4.4. Would
it be easier to just reinstall and import the disks?

are on nfs mounts you should be able to readd the storage domain and import
the vms

Luckily this is for a home lab and nothing critical is lost. However I was
trying to change the subnet my host was on. And I found out that you
cant do that. So I reverted back but my hosted engine wasnt happy about my
NFS mounts.
so I did a engine-cleanup and an engine-setup. Went through the

Subject: [ovirt-users] Re: about the power management of the hosts
Hi,
For example, in situation where host:
* laggy
* network laggy
or another manager <-> host connectivity issues - ovirt-engine can't determine
what with host actually:
* host stuck
* host unreachable
* me (engine) unreachable
* other lossy, lags, etc
another chances for enginte to determine
Have you tried the windows fix (a.k.a Engine restart )?

I think that the following documentation explains it far better than a single
