I tested geo-replication DR to another site and was able to attach the Storage
Domain and import the VMs to the other Data Center. With a stretched VLAN the
VMs were instantly accessible.
It would still be good to see the Geo-Rep session in the WebUI.
As a workaround I commented out the sections in the following yaml files where
the VG, thinpool etc already existed
/etc/ansible/roles/gluster.infra/roles/backend_setup/tasks/main.yml
/etc/ansible/roles/gluster.infra/roles/backend_setup/tasks/vg_create.yml
I'm trying to create a user/group that doesn't have full admin permissions.
Does this capability exist with keycloak for the oVirt environment?

Can anyone point me in the direction of documentation to create new users and
groups to provide specific permissions please?
Thanks

If the latest outage was not long ago, you could still find some
preliminary and useful information inside /var/log/ovirt-engine/engine.log
of the engine
In general, for all oVirt related log
Ok i will prepare all to the next outage

Fedele, I think you should define better what "misaligned" means in your
Thank you Gianluca for your answer.
Population of /etc/hosts as a backup with host and ovirt engine ip:
this has already been done.

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to configure oVirt so as not to be
affected by internet connection loss.
I have three ovirt hosts and together with the switch that connects them they
are powered by a UPS.
Currently, when I have an internet outage, the oVirt hosts get misaligned and
I tried several ways to upgrade a node and the hosted-engine and it didn´t
work. The upgrade of a standard installation of Rocky 8.x to 9 works fine, but
when you add the Ovirt/CentOS repositories, dnf starts to throw a bunch of
conflicts and it doesn´t work anymore, and you have just bricked
It seems like you want to migrate from VMware to oVirt. If the OVF import
failed, you can try another solution Vinchin Backup & Recovery to migrate VM.
It will help you directly use VM on oVirt without configuring it.
