Hi all,
I just upgraded From 3.5 to 3.6 and I run a backup with engine-backup. The
resulting files are very small in size compared to those created with the
engine-backup command from 3.5. Is this correct ?
old backup( scope=files) : 15MB
new backup(scoope=files): 177KB
In the old backup file
Thank you Martin. I was talking about 3.5 here, forgot to mention.

Hi all,
is this the correct way to move engine db from one server to another?
1) service engine stop
2) dump db
3) restore dump on new db server
4) modify /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf.d/10-setup-database.conf
5) run engine-setup
Thanks,
Giorgio

Ok, so if i modify any of the config under /etc/ovirt-engine, for example
the db parameters,
and restart the engine service it should just work, right ?

Hello,
I'm writing a python script to draw a graph of the disks and virtual
machines in relation to their "position" in the data center.
I am using pygraphviz to draw the graph, I found the vm and their disks, data
centers and their storage domains, but I can not connect the disks to the
storage
Ok that's work !
So simply
Thanks,
Giorgio
