oVirt supports three types of storage file-based where there are ordinary files on a posix filesystem, NFS, etc.. block storage domains are using LVM volumes for disks, there's no filesystem, VM disks are LVs. managed domains - storage operations are offloaded to Cinderlib with Ceph backend.
