[Users] Updated oVirt Engine Packages now available

2012-11-24 Thread Ofer Schreiber
The oVirt Team is pleased to announce that an updated build of ovirt-engine is
now available.

This update resolves bug 869457 [1]. A previous update to the oVirt SDK would
cause installs with the AllInOne plugin to fail.

To update your existing system, you can use the engine-upgrade command.

To install a new system from scratch, then follow the normal installation
process of:

# yum install ovirt-engine
# engine-setup

New Packages:
ovirt-engine-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-backend-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-config-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-dbscripts-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-genericapi-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-notification-service-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-restapi-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-setup-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-setup-plugin-allinone-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-tools-common-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-userportal-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm
ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-3.1.0-4.fc17.noarch.rpm

All packages are available at
http://www.ovirt.org/releases/3.1/rpm/Fedora/17/noarch/

Thanks

The oVirt Team

 fewseconds

 Dear oVirt-User-List,

when I try to connect to a spice-VM by clicking the console-button
in the user portal the Remote Viewer appears with the text
Setting up spice session, but a few seconds later it just quits
 without an error message.

Here are a few corresponding log-lines of engine.log:
