Dear all,
I'm currently trying to create a puppet module for setting up ovirt from
scratch.
For the moment I'm stuck with the answer file that hangs on this (and then
of course stops the installation):
Notice:

Ok
so try to import as preallocated and attach the log if you have any errors.

Hi,
as you probably noticed, CentOS 7.3 is rolling out right now and will be
announced pretty soon.
Please note that due to new libvirt shipped within CentOS 7.3, it is
required to update qemu-kvm-ev to 2.6 at the same time.
If you're using CentOS Virt SIG rpms / repos for oVirt this should
Hi Baptiste,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I understand that you updated your DWH to collect every 60 seconds instead
of 20.
I'm the oVirt DWH maintainer and I would really appreciate if you can share
what led you to this decision?
And some details on your setup.
Do you have it installed

Devin,
oVirt does not currently support changing external network mtu from within
ovirt (it rather relies on the provider handling this internally).
If you are using OVN DHCP (have subnets defined for a network), you can modify
the OVN DHCP options directly in the OVN database.
I have never

Try running virt-v2v by hand on your host:
LIBGUESTFS_BACKEND=direct annotate-output virt-v2v -v -x -i ova
/tmp/rhel_Vsp-4.4.0.GA-53.ova -of raw -o null
Maybe it will give you more insight into the error?

Hi Devin,
This blog posting does a good job of explaining how to configure OVN
DHCP support:

The ovn-nb man page lists the DHCP options that can be provided, including
mtu:

I mount 5TB nfs-share to my host and tried to import OVA from this mount-point.
Exact same error.
Do the import process attempts to use 256G inside the Engine virtual machine ???

Ahoj,
Through websockets, you're connecting to TLS port with cert issued by
oVirt CA so you need have your browser trust oVirt CA in order to
connect successfully to spice-html5.
AFAIU you should be able to replace certs for spice (it's separate file
on host from vdsm cert although their
1.2G is real OVA image size.
256G is virtual disk size.
Could this be a problem?
But before I start the import, in the settings I choose "Thin provision" (see
the attached screenshot)

I login in rescue mode, I fix that storage/mount problem
(whatever that might be, does not matter) and I do
$ system default

Hi Devin,
Below is one example of creating dhcp options and associating them with
logical ports using ovn-nbctl commands. Please see the links shared by
Lance for more details.
Lets say you have a network with cidr - 10.0.0.0/24.
One example would be
$ovn-nbctl dhcp-options-create 10.0.0.0/24
