No, the Engine does not currently have communication directly to the storage
network where GSA-Stor1 (aka GSA-Stor1e.engine.local) and GSA-Stor2 reside. The
host it is running on does have access.
Where am I supposed to go from here?
Thank you,

I'll be testing this shortly, thanks for your efforts.
Potentially one advantage of using the backup API subset is that it may be
less susceptible to changes in the underlying oVirt API.

Hi,
In order to create a new ISO domain or import an existing one to a data
center, you need the data center to have at least one active storage domain
of type data.

Hi,
Can you please tell me which is the version of ovirt you are using
? I looked at the engine log and i see that engine failed to establish
SSH session with the host . Can you check if your hosts are reachable
from the engine ?

Hello there again,
Yes as I say, I have done several clean installations and the VM engine
sometimes starts without any problem. So Simone any recommendation to make
the engine VM starts properly?¿

Looks like your repos are not set up correctly. oVirt node is an image and
the update is a complete image as well, containing a set packages that were
tested and known to work well together. This means that when you yum
update your system, a single "ovirt-node-ng-image-update" rpm should be
great, thanks very much

Create a new DATA domain with what you really need. Then make that the
master and put the old one into maintenance and remove it.
That should do what you need.

Okay, no, the Engine does not have that communication.
So, this answers a question I have had. The requirements for the Engine are
similar in nature as vSphere's VCenter server, where the VCenter server has to
have a direct connection to the storage networks. Makes sense, they have to be
I went to add my ISO domain as the first storage domain. It got created as a
DATA domain instead. I thought I selected "ISO". Now, Manager won't allow me to
change or remove. What can I do?

I remember why I couldn't add the network interface using the Manager.
It is requiring me to make the storage network a VM network. But, besides the
Engine using it to be able to communicate with the storage servers, it is not a
VM network. So, that it where I question what I should do. Just
