Hi,
I want to know packages list in ovirt node ISO.
Do we have some documentation or some auto output of jenkin job ?
Please let me know.
Thanks,

might want to double check what yum repos you have configured.
"yum search vdsm" or "yum list vdsm" should return something.
vdsm is not part of standard centos7 repo.
you can add it with something like
|# yum install
||http://resources.ovirt.org/pub/yum-repo/ovirt-release41.rpm|
that doesn't work either on good host or bad.
Maybe that is just a distraction.
Any idea why ovirt won't let me add the host?
"Test failed: [Failed: Unable to obtain correct plug status or plug is
not available, , ]"
[root@ovirt6 prod ~]# /sbin/fence_ilo4 -a 10.144.254.87 -P -l
Trying to add a CentOS 7 host to oVirt instance, but fails during setup
validation with 'Cannot locate vdsm package, possible cause is incorrect
channels.' Of course, given this is oVirt (not RHEV) and CentOS not
RHEL, there is not any RHEL applicable channel. Anyone have this issue
as well?

I installed ovirt-engine on Centos7. My target is to have a single host

During the installation of the (first and unique) host, I get an error:

Hi Yaniv,
as the user asked for a GUI too, I think that using
One thing that I cannot conceive when doing oVirt backups is the need to
clone the VM in order to copy it. Why, as in VMware, isn't possible to
just Snapshot and copy the read-only disk ?

Hi,
Yes, the python script is using this API.
I was thinking to have in the GUI for VM backups sth similar as the gluster
volume snapshot schedules.

No it would not. You have to set everything you want in your answer file.

Hi All,
For VM backups I am using some python script to automate the snapshot ->
clone -> export -> delete steps (although with some issues when trying to
backups a Windows 10 VM)
I was wondering if there is there any plan to integrate VM backups in the
GUI or what other recommended ways exist

Hello, thank you for fast response.
The point of changing the max_mem_size is little tricky, as we have
environments with together ~13k VMs running on top of ovirt, no kidding
:) and currently doing upgrades from 3.6 > 4.1. So we can easy set those
values to the needed ones for every VM,

Maximum memory value is stored in |VmBase.maxMemorySizeMb| property. It
is validated against range [/memory of VM/, /*MaxMemorySizeInMB/], where
