Hello,
I have one more question for the gluster deployment.
I have three servers with different disk sizes :
- server1 : 3 x SSD configured in raid 5 mode for a total capacity of 900 GB
- server2 : 6 x SSD configurerd in raid 6 mode for a total capacity of
2,2 TB
- server3 : same as server2 (2,2

For the engine, you will need at least 58 GB. I always use 62 just to be on the
safe side. If you use 50, your install will fail.
You don't need an ISO domain. ISO files can be stored in "data" or "vmstore".
Each vm you create should have 2 disks, 1 for the o/s & 1 for the data.

Hi!
I am thinking about using some spare servers I have for a

We originally noticed an issue when the host would restart at midnight on
Saturdays EST time. The other day it restarted at 10AM EST which was a surprise.
The system is under low load and no hardware issues were found in iDRAC nor in
kernel messages.

Hi all,
my enviroment is composed to a standalone ovirt-engine and 3 host.
I would migrate my ovirt-engine to a self-hosted Engine enviroment, but I
don't found any guide for this procedure.
Con you help me?

I'm currently running oVirt 4.1 (with gluster 3.8.15) and as this is a cluster
which has been upgraded from (I believe) oVirt 3.5 originally, the storage
volumes use old "Optimize for Virt Store" configuration of not enabling
sharding. I see now that the oVirt 4.1 "optimize" configuration does e

I found what happens with OVN.
The wrong contents of a /etc/pki/ovirt-engine/apache-ca.pem I update it with my
root-CA cert file and get a success test:
"Test succeeded, managed to access provider."

ok I think I figured out what is happening...
I am currently running some redundancy tests on ovirt+replica2+arbiter glusterfs
This is happening under small file 4k fio random write test. like this
fio --randrepeat=1 --ioengine=libaio --direct=1 --gtod_reduce=1 --name=test
--filename=test --bs=4k

I am running a three server oVirt hyperconverged setup with JBOD disks.
Two 2TB SSDs in JBOD per server. The configuration is working very well
for me so far.

Should also note that I am using replica 3 configuration with no arbiter
for extra redundancy.
