Yup, doing the 3 > drop_cache is clearly freeing up the memory.

Hi,
While adding Ovirt node to Ovirt engine I am getting below network errors
on ovirt-engine.log

I've seen the articles about hooking ovirt to AD and keycloak, but is there a
way to hook it to something like ADFS? I'd like to have it require an MFA
login and I know I can do it with ADFS.

Hi,
is there a way to recover file from "Stale file handle" errors?
Here some of the tests we have done:
- compared the extended attributes of all of the three replicas of the
involved shard. Found identical attributes.
- compared SHA512 message digest of all of the three replicas of the
I would recommend just putting a gluster Arbiter on the 3rd node, then you can
use normal ovirt tools more easily.
If you really want to do this, I wouldn’t bother with ctdb. I used to do it,
switch to a simpler DNS trick, just put entries in your hosts file with the
storage ip of both nodes,
Agree, looks like disk caching, which is considered in use but can be freed as
things ask for it. What kind of storage are you using here?
I checked my converged group, the GUI memory use looks like it includes the
cache as well, just not as extreme as yours :) If you wanted to confirm, you
Hi Markus,
What's the out put of
egrep "vmx|svm" "/proc/cpuinfo"
When the out put does not return any thing you will get "Hardware
virtualization is not supported on this host"

Thank you very much Eitan !
So on a fresh installation, browser cache cleared, tried different
browsers, i still have that error, and the following error in ui.log:

I cant get any further though for some reason. I think its with qemu. I can get
a VM up to install the OS by selecting somethign other than Windows for the VM
type as specified as a possible workaround. But as Windows boot ISO does its
thing, it throws a thread error. I can get the error later

Hi,
those are state change notifications from the hosted engine agent. It
basically means somebody restarted the ha-agent process and it found
out the VM is still running fine and returned to the proper state.
Configuring it is possible using the broker.conf file in
/etc/ovirt-hosted-engine-ha
