Hi,
Yes you can expand your cluster using cockpit in day2 operation.
You need to login to cockpit and then click "Manage Gluster" -> "Expand
Cluster"

Hello All,
Recently I wanted to enable nested virtualization on my cluster and thus I had
to redeploy the first host.
Sadly, some time ago I have taken the shortcut and changed the values in
/etc/ovirt-hosted-engine/hosted-engine.conf locally in order to replace the
gluster host and
What is the output of 'gluster volume info data' ?

I have figured it out. After a reinstall from UI , I have managed to obtain the
necessary change. Here is what I have used:
hosted-engine --set-shared-config mnt_options
'backup-volfile-servers=gluster2:ovirt3' --type=he_shared
hosted-engine --set-shared-config mnt_options

Hi, I have in my ovirt HCI a volume that not work properly because one of three
hdd fail. I bought a new hdd, I recreate old lvm partitioning and mount point.
Now, how can I attach this empty new brick?

As you are replacing an old brick, you have to recreate the old LV and mount it
on the same location.
Then you can use the gluster's "reset-brick" (i thing ovirt UI has that
option too) and all data will be replicated there.
You got also the "replace-brick" option if you decided to change
What do you mean by same place? before this hdd was on /dev/md0 now on
/dev/sdc. Now if I do lsblk the lvm configurantion and mount point are the
same...
My target is replace a damaged hard disk, so on the same hosts.

According to your message you have these bricks:Bricks:
Brick1: kansas.planet.bn:/gluster_bricks/data/data
Brick2: germany.planet.bn:/gluster_bricks/data/data
Brick3: singapore.planet.bn:/gluster_bricks/data/data
And you tried to reset-brick 'asia.planet.bn:/gluster_bricks/data/data'which is
not
Just a short update,
I have checked the other node (that has not been reinstall +deploy) and it also
has the same error:ovirt-ha-broker mgmt_bridge.MgmtBridge ERROR Failed to
getVdsStats: No 'network' in resultSo this one is not related to reinstalaltion
of the ovirt host.

Hi All,
After a host reinstall + deploy (UI -> Hosts -> Management -> Reinstall) I see
the following error in the ovirt-ha-broker :
ovirt-ha-broker mgmt_bridge.MgmtBridge ERROR Failed to getVdsStats: No
'network' in result
Anyone got an idea what is it going about ? Should I worry about that
It seems that there is no 'asia_planet_bn:/gluster_bricks/data/data' in that
volume.Reset-brick expects that you have replaced the same brick and mounted it
on the same place (and is empty). If you want to replace with brick on another
host - you should use 'replace-brick' option .
