[ovirt-users] New Stats for oVirt Community

[Brian Proffitt]

The folks at Bitergia have been working on improving the community metrics 
dashboard located at ovirt.org/stats. I was just notified that, per our 
request, metrics for a big asset in our community--the #ovirt IRC--have been 
added to the dashboard. Swing by the page and see who's active on IRC and in 
the rest of the oVirt community!

probably the one after its supported in rhel so rhev can consume it...
we just added hotplug cpu as rhel 6.5 added support.

[ovirt-users] Create two Node Cluster

Hello List,

i just installed 3.4.

1.) I created a DataCenter:
--
Type: Shared
Compatibility Versio: 3.4
Quota Mode: disabled


2.) i created the Cluster
--
Compatibility Version: 3.4
Enable Virt Service: yes
Enable Gluster Service: yes

3.) i added two hosts
-
- they are up and running

How can i now add my volumes and bricks?
I dont have the exspected "Volumes" Tab to add Bricks.

If i go to "Storage" i can only add "Data / GlusterFS" with a path to mount
glusterfs. I guess this is for already existing gluster shares?

Does it not work like this on page 15,16,17?

I had exactly the same issue and in order to fix it I implemented the below 
workaround, hope I will not have any further problems with it…

But you have to keep in mind that the Snapshot are not getting deleted 
afterwards, I think this issue is targeted for Release 3.5 with the Feature 
“Live Merge”

 
Workaround:
I installed in Force Mode all qemu*5.8.x86*.rpm Packages from  

 
http://jenkins.ovirt.org/view/All/job/qemu-kvm-rhev_create-rpms_el6/lastStableBuild/
 on the physical hosts (BTW my hosts are running on CentOS 6.5 with latest yum 
updates).

[ovirt-users] Dashboard Button inside Administrator Portal redirects to "Specified page not found"

Hi all,

 

My problem is that the Dasboard Button inside the Administrator Portal
redirects me to an empty page where „Specified page not found“ is displayed.

 

All the rest (e.g. clicking on show reports) inside the Adminitrator Portal
redirects me to the correct site for the Engine Report, so SSO its ok as
well. I´m also able to login as admin user to the Engine Report Site
directly, but in that case I´m not getting the “Create Button”, I see only
the Home, View and Manage Buttons. Also if I´m clicking on on the left site
to Resources, Webadmin Dashboards, CE it looks ok, the only Problem is that
I can only choose “Default” and not my defined names…

 

I´m running oVirt 3.4.1 with Jasper 5.5.0 based on Build: 20131024_0957 at
different sites and all of them have the same problem.

I could not find any Root Cause for it, so I hope that someone else can help
me to find out whats wrong in my systems…

I got to the console when mine went for a reboot. I see sanlock and
wdmd failing to shutdown properly which would explain why it doesn't
unmount properly.
