Hello, Since I can live migrate the storage to another lun so as to put the master domain in maintenance, it is quite very long (2,5To) and I will have to do the same in the other side. Re: [ovirt-users] Storage Domain ISCSI Inactive
Hi Aharon, Yes, I remove the lun from the storage. The problem already solved, but a little bit confuse about the iscsi session on rhev-m. I create new lun and rhev-m recognize the new LUN properly But when I delete the previous lun, the rhev-m still showing the lun but the lun marked as unavailable lun. For solving the cache issue on the rhev-m, running iscsiadm -m session -u and relogin with iscsiadm -m node -l. The issue is when I relogin the iscsi target on rhev-host, the running VM would be paused. There any other method to clear cache the lun on rhev-m ? [ovirt-users] iso domain don't go into maintenance mode because of attached iso
Hi all, I try to put my iso domain in maintenance mode but engine tells me that some vms use it with an attached iso. I detached them from their respective vms without rebooting them, but the issue and the message are still the same. I have 2 hosts with hosted engine in the firts host. The second host also has the Domain Storage for the 2 hosts (Glusterfs). The Storage Domain is in active status. [ovirt-users] Where do you run oVirt? Here are the answers!
Hi, This is a summary of the 85 response we got to the last month poll. Thanks everyone who answered! Which distribution are you using for running ovirt-engine? Fedora 20 6 7% CentOS 640 47% CentOS 731 36% oVirt Node 6 7% Other 2 2% In Other: RHEL 6.6, 7.0, 7.1 and a mixed environment of CentOS 6 and 7. Do you use Hosted Engine? Current running vm count is over 100. I'd like to use EL7 platform in the future, but I'm uncertain how to best upgrade everything with a minimal downtime. we currently run ovirt-engine 3.3.3 we will stick with EL platform and not switch to fedora based, because we need the improved stability. we also do not upgrade to dot zero releases as these introduced some breakage in the past (regressions). I hope this gets better with future releases. Keep up the good work! Re: [ovirt-users] expanding a master lun storage domain on the san side
Can anybody help me with this? When the domain storage is recognized with the good size by the host, is there something to do for engine to recognize this size?
