I've been playing these and wondering what these really do. I know
engine-iso-uploader and engine-image-uploader really work since I've
used them but the others don't do anything useful or give me wrong
information. I'm running these on the Engine VM in a hosted-engine
deployment with version
Hi, michal
# I have deleted the environment now.
engine was 3.6 (upgraded from 3.5) and host/compatibilty_level kept with
3.5.
is it the reason for my problem?
if yes, how to solve it? just upgrade the vdsm and change the cluster
compatibilty level to 3.6?

Occasionally I have a single VM go into an "?" unknown state and the only
method of recovery is to kill the PID on the host. This happens once or
twice a week to 1 out of 500+ VM's. There is no pattern to this and VM
operating system doesn't seem to make any difference.
Logs are attached.
Didi,
As requested.
[root@ovirt-dev ~]# service ovirt-engine-dwhd status
ovirt-engine-dwhd (pid 32410) is running...

The log is over at pastebin to prevent a huge email/

Hope that is ok.

Hi David,
Thanks for your reaction.
I’m using IPv4 addressing.
I upgraded to oVirt 3.6.4.1-1.el7.centos, but that did not solve the problem.
When i use the setupnetworks from the Python SDK it looks like the that the XML
that send to the oVirt engine has the ip address settings but they are

Team,
I am trying to run an ovirt report (Summary of Host usage) and I get "No
Data Available"
The logs show no errors.
I am running oVirt Engine Version: 3.5.4.2-1.el6 with Ovirt Reports.
Any ideas?

Hi,
the host and VM are all up-to-date with latest packages for CentOS 7.*.
In /proc/cpuinfo I see "nx" in the flags list, the full list is on the
and of the mail.
Is it possible that this problem destroy the Windows Server 2012 R2 VM?
Now I start the third installation, hopefully this time it

February and March were very exciting for oVirt, including our brand new
oVirt.org website launch, some great oVirt presentations at Developer
Conference CZ and FOSSASIA, and the release of oVirt 3.6.4. Check out
the newsletter for all the updates.

Hey All,
Summary: ipxe fails to get DHCP address, but it works when I don't use ipxe eg
from iso installer.
I'm running into the same issue which is noted in this thread, but the
workaround they used didn't seem to work for me. I only change the rom images
on the 1 ovirt host, nothing else -
Hi Jurrien,
I don't see anything in logs on the nodes itself. The only thing we see in
logs are in engine log - it looses connectivity to the host.
Definitely CentOS 7.1/7.2 related. Downgraded the hosts to ovirt-iso 3.5,
this resolves the issue.

Hi all,
After upgrading to 3.6.4 I'm seeing errors in the webadmin portal when
doing the following:
- Click on hosts.
- Select a host
- Put it in to maintenance
- VMs get migrated from the host
- Select an other host and go back to the first host
- I get the following messages in the screen:
I'd like to add:
- There are 2 OVF stores in my hosted_storage ( hostedengine_nfs ).
- I checked creation time, they are both created around the same time
http://screencast.com/t/hbXQFlou
So hopefully there is some way to update hosted storage sp it can be
updated.
