Re: [ovirt-users] problem after rebooting the node

2017-02-04 Thread Edward Haas
Based on what I can see, you used OVS as the switch type and it seems ovs
(openvswitch) is not properly installed on your host.
Make sure that you have ovs operational by issuing "ovs-vsctl show".

You should note that OVS network support is not an official release
feature, and you should use it on 4.1 and up versions.
Fixes will be probably submitted to master (appearing in nightly builds).

Next time please include the mailing-list in your replies and attach the
log files, it is less spamming.

Thanks,
Edy.

This should generally work. Is the vlan interface configured, before you
run deploy?

Re: [ovirt-users] Export/Import Virtual Machcines

Detach data-domain or using export domain is a good solution,
another one is to use "import" button from the VMs tab and use "Kvm (via
Libvirt)" as the source.
you will need to open Libvirt ports as described here:

That's mostly ok, but generally you should install ovirt-release41.rpm.

It will also add/update ovirt-*-dependencies.repo .

Thanks for your reply!

I will do that. I want to make sure though that updating the host will
not make my guests loose the ability to use spice and nor will it create
a problem with my oVirt Manager been on 4.0.X branch?

Thanks!

Please never change anything in /usr/share/ovirt-engine, those files are
always overwritten during upgrade. If you need change any option in
ovirt-engine-notifier, please create new configuration file in
/etc/ovirt-engine/notifier/notifier.conf.d directory. For example if you
need to set MAIL_SERVER please create
/etc/ovirt-engine/notifier/notifier.conf.d/99-custom.conf with following
content:

  MAIL_SERVER=127.0.0.1

After saving the file please restart ovirt-engine-notifier service:

  systemctl restart ovirt-engine-notifier

[ovirt-users] ovirt-engine-notifier tuning?

2017-02-04 Thread Nicolás

Hi,

Is there a way to configure the frequency on which the
ovirt-engine-notifier notifies about the same issue? We've recently had
a Domain Storage with low space and an email was sent cca. every 15
minutes. Is there a way to increase this notification time?

This is oVirt 4.0.4-4.

Thanks.

showing up in drop down list. Any http don't have influence on this.

That is correct behavior, we dont show profiles, which uses http for authn.

[root@vhe00 extensions.d]# pwd
/etc/ovirt-engine/extensions.d

[root@vhe00 extensions.d]# ls
mydomain.lan-authn.properties mydomain.lan-http-authn.properties
mydomain.lan.properties internal-authz.properties
mydomain.lan-authz.properties mydomain.lan-http-mapping.properties
 internal-authn.properties
[root@vhe00 extensions.d]#

If possible clarify how it should be and what is possible issue.

Can you please take a look to /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log if any errors
there?

Slava.

Re: [ovirt-users] [Call for feedback] did you install/update to 4.1.0?

Hi all,

We end up knowing only when things doesn't work well, let us know it
works fine for you :-)

I just updated my test environment (3 hosts, hosted engine, iSCSI) to
4.1 and it worked very well. I initially had a problem to migrate my
engine vm to another host but this could have been a local problem.

The only thing that could be improved is the online documentation (404
errors, already adressed in another thread). ;)

Otherwise erverything runs very well so far, thank you for your work!

cu,
Uwe

Re: [ovirt-users] [Call for feedback] did you install/update to 4.1.0?

2017-02-04 Thread Ralf Schenk
Hello,

I have set up 3 hosts for engine, 2 of them are working correct. There
is no other host even having broker/agent installed. Is it possible that
the error occurs because the hosts are multihomed (Management IP, IP for
storage) and can communicate with different IP's ?

hosted-engine --vm-status on both working hosts seems correct: (3 is out
of order...)

[root@microcloud21 ~]# hosted-engine --vm-status
