It's my understanding that when you activate a host part of the process is
to verify that it can connect to all active storage domains. If it cannot
connect to any domain then it will refuse to go to the "up" state. In my
case the storage domains are FC so completely outside the TCP/IP stack.

need to ensure that all relevant ports are open, with particular attention
to the correct operation of SPM.

Is it sufficient to open TCP ports 16514 and 54321 to achieve this?

Hi Doug,

there is no extra permission needed. As said above ovirt-web-ui project is
open to all registered Zanata users. One just need to be a member of
language group of language one wants to translate.

In this case probably Brazilian Portuguese [1]. Please follow the link and
request a language group membership [2]. This request needs to be approved
by pt-br language group coordinator. The approval usually comes in days.
Once a user is a member of a language group, (s)he can edit translations of
all open projects in Zanata, including ovirt-web-ui.

Release of oVirt 4.1.5, as of August 22nd, 2017

This update is the fifth in a series of stabilization updates to the 4.1
series.
4.1.5 brings more than 20 enhancements and more than 90 bugfixes,
including more than 40 high or urgent
severity fixes, on top of oVirt 4.1 series

Starting 4.1.5 oVirt supports libgfapi [5]. Using libgfapi provides a real
performance boost for ovirt when using GlusterFS .
Due  to a known issue [6], using this will break live storage migration.
This is expected to be fixed soon. If you do not use live storage
migration you can give it a try. Use [7] for more details on how to  enable
it.

This release is available now for:
* Fedora 24 (tech preview)
* Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3 or later
* CentOS Linux (or similar) 7.3 or later

This release supports Hypervisor Hosts running:

ovirt-web-ui Zanata project should be open to all registered translators.

The suspicion is correct - one really needs to be an approved member of a
language group to be able to edit translations of that particular language.
Otherwise red padlock icon is shown with pretty counter-intuitive text
"This project-version is readonly. It cannot be edited."

[ovirt-users] Cloning VM on a different data domain than master

Dear list,

When cloning a VM, is it possible to select the data domain to which it would 
clone.
I have two data domains attached to my cluster and it automatically clone the 
VM to the master one.

Hi Matthias,

Can you please attach the full engine log contains the first error
occurred so we can trace its origin and fix it?
Does it reproduced constantly?

The engine does not use VDSM tasks to manage Cinder, the engine use
Cinder as an external provider using the COCO infrastructure for async
tasks.
The COCO tasks are managed in the database using the command_entities
table, basically if you will remove all references of the command id
from the command_entities and restart engine you should not see it any
more.

thanks very much for replying. First i tried to clean the 
command_entities table plus restarting engine as you suggested. This 
didn't work entirely, these two entries
