Hi,
according to error and source codes you are using either oVirt 4.2 Alpha or
some nightly build, right? The error has already been fixed, so you need to
wait for oVirt 4.2 Beta or upgrade to some recent nighlty build.
Anyway please be aware that we cannot yet recommend using 4.2 Alpha/nightly
Hi Martin,
Storage isn't an issue, that was me trying to force fix another problem
(removing 'dead' hosted engine hosts)
This just popped up in engine.log:

I did some more testing. Is it possible ovirt is assigning the incorrect
devices?
I found out that if I don't assign the keyboard to my VM, but still hit
ctrl + alt + delete, everything still crashes! (Host and VM).
I checked the VMs devices:

I have a windows guest that I use to use without issue, but since upgrading
from 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 I cannot get a mouse to pass through to the VM using

tried multiple mice with the same issue, they just wont wo

Hi Martin,
Sure is there a way to trigger the check (I cleared the alerts), or do I
just need to have a poke around the engine log next time it happens?

Hi Kasturi
The data disks are located on a stand-alone Gluster cluster,
distributed-dispersed volume.
Is there a limit in this case?
I tested with up to 8x3TB disks and everything looks good so far. I'm trying to
find out what's the maximum supported disks count and size w/o actually

Hi,
I recently upgraded my testlab to oVirt 4.2-pre and have been having some
issues.
One of which is fencing with Dell Drac 8 remote access cards.
The configuration I'm using works fine on my other (4.1.6) cluster...

Thanks Kasturi,
I did try that but not getting anywhere, I get the following errors when

Hi Dmitri,
If the vms are created on a Hyperconverged setup then the max disk
size recommended is 2TB.
Thanks
kasturi.

Hi,
You can run the command below which will remove these hosts from the
hosted-engine --vm-status output
‘hosted-engine --clean-metadata --host-id= --force-clean’
Thanks
