Hi
I haven't used oVirt in several years so wanted to ask how live migration
may have changed.
Can NFS facilitate live migration in cluster of two hosts each which have
NFS mounted?
The hosts would have local attached storage which would be the original
location of VMs.

Hi Nir,
Thanks for your response.
I tried for linux iso files and I am able to get the OS with version like
below,
[root@ovirtadmin iso]# iso-info ubuntu-18.04-desktop-amd64.iso
iso-info version 0.92 x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu

Indeed the Storage domains are via NFS served by Windows Server 2016.
the workaround says "use NFSV3", I'm afraid this will break my existing
installation. For now, all my VMs are running on one host that is still on
4.2.0.

Would be great to get some help with this, no VMs will start on a freshly
installed 4.2.5 node (not upgraded, installed fresh from new ISO)
I created a new VM from Centos 7 template imported from Glance repository.
It won't start, although it starts fine on my 4.2.0 host.
Error upon starting VM,

No wild card can't be an exact search,
say I have only name as 'xyz x' and another name as 'xyz xx' then how it
works for this case?
Any other suggestion?

Hi Hari,
In this case you can try "xyz*pq*" . It means in each space you can put *

Thanks for your response, Gobinda,
Yes it is only for network.
The following will end up with multiple results, say I have a network name
with 'xyz pq r' and another network name with 'xyz rs t' then the search:
xyz* will end up fetching both, Is there a way to search a particular
result.
Hi,
How did you create vm with space in name? ovirt-engine UI does not allow
vm name with space. It allows only "alphanumeric, '.', '-' and '_'
characters.
Network you can search by mentioning first some characters then * , for ex:
If network name is "xyz pq r" then you can type "xyz*"
But If you

Hello,
Thanks for answer, No I don't need HCI. Just to have some hosts in a same
Cluster.
Reason ?
- To share vNIC for guests
- To migration VMs with local SR between 2 hosts ? (like I can do in Xen, but I
think not possible in O-Virt actually. Shared Storage seem mandatory for
Migration
Hello,
Yes thanks you, MoM work correctly. Indeed 80% used threshold need to be raise
for memory release work :)
Thanks for support !
Bye,
