Yes , if you create vdo volume via cockpit then you will get all necessary
options default.

I thought this was the default in the cockpit wizard?

By manual process - I assume you did not use the Cockpit UI to create
the bricks and gluster volumes? You should review the volume options
that are set.

You can split the gluster traffic by using a different address (of
gluster network) to peer probe the gluster servers. And use the
ovirtmgmt interface to add the hosts to engine.

This is a bug which we are tracking to fix in 4.3.

Both are valid options. creating new volume would mean that you may
have to move some of the vdisks to the newly created volume to free up
space.

[ovirt-users] Spice console very poor performance for Windows 10 vm

2019-01-06 Thread Leo David
Hello Everyone,
Maybe I am something wrong, but spice console seem to be very laggy and
slow for windows 10 vms. I have tried both qxl and qxl-dod drivers, but no
luck so far...
As a notice, the Win 2012R2 vm console is running fine, the problem seems
to only affect Windows 10.
Any ideas, what should I do to sort this out ?
Thank you very much !

Leo

[ovirt-users] Hosted Engine VM and Storage not showing up

Hello,

I’ve a new oVirt installation using oVirt 4.2.7.1 Node and after deploying the
hosted engine it does not show up on the interface even after adding the first
storage.

The Datacenter is up but the engine VM and the engine storage does not appear.

I have the following message repeated constantly on /var/log/messages:

to identify the OVF_STORE volume, falling back to initial vm.conf. Please

[ovirt-users] oVirt QueryType

2019-01-06 Thread Anastasiya Ruzhanskaya
Hello everyone!
I am investigation POST requests oVirt makes during the startup while
entering to the webadmin.

The first is xsrf token,

second is QueryType with type 231.

I am a little bit confused: if I counted correctly , 231 is Search type.
What it searched exactly? It is not specified in message.

The answer to this query is aaa.ProfileEntry.
Am I missing something? Then in the third message I see such queries as
GetAllVmIcons, GetBookmark which seems rather strange ( because no vms are
shown on the dashboard).
Or I am counting enum values incorrectly?
