[ovirt-users] About fibre channel storage
Hello, I have a design with of 3 hosts and a storage space on Fiber Channel SAN. I'm not going to deceive you. I come from the vmware world. (And I do not want to compare) I would like to understand how ovirt/kvm works at level of folders/virtual-machine files. I do not understand how or where this is organized. For example... [ovirt-users] Ovirt Nodes - Which OS
Hello, I was testing Ovirt inside a VDI proyect. Now, I know there is new version of Ovrit (4.X) and VDI Software so I have decided to remake the installation of all. I wonder which is the best OS platafform for the Host (Ovirt - Nodes). (Fedora / Red Hat Enterprise Linux / CentOS) Now I have CentOS 7 64Bit but... I am not sure. What do you think about it? Fedora or CentOS? Which version? Fedora 19? Fedora 24? CentOS 6? CentOS 7? I always had the feeling that Fedora is a little ahead against CentOS for example oVirt packages. Hello, I have just arrived and I have the first question. The oVirt-engine + It can be a physical server? + It can be a virtual machine? - Do it run under oVirt or can it run under other platforms like vmware and or Hyper-V? I Would like to run it under vmware. I know this is a contradiction but I think this is the heart of the solution I prefer to run it under a known platform What do you recommend? Operation System?
