Hello Fabian

Can we move the oVirt node weekly talk to another week day?
Or just a bit earlier ?

Best Regards.

Re: [ovirt-users] Restore VMs after engine fail

2015-02-16 Thread Tolik Litovsky
Hi

Can you take a look at your storage and try to find the disk there.
It seems that they got lost and the engine cant find them.
If you can find them its possible to tie them back (the data seats on the disks)
Just search for those big qcow2 files or ovf ones.

Re: [ovirt-users] Restore VMs after engine fail

2015-02-16 Thread Tolik Litovsky
Hi

You mean you used the disks from FC directly in the VM's and not as NFS share
and stored the disk on that NFS share ?

Re: [ovirt-users] Restore VMs after engine fail

2015-02-16 Thread Tolik Litovsky
Hi

I am not very familiar with FC arrays.
But can you try to fsck them somehow ?
The logs show that it cant connect to those disks.
One reason can be that they was not unmounted correctly from the VMs.

After that you can try to import them again into the engine.

Re: [ovirt-users] oVirt node, hosted-engine, oVirt appliance and cloud-init

2015-03-13 Thread Tolik Litovsky
Hi

First of all I think cloud-init is optional so user can select if use it or not.
So if somebody wants to deploy hosted engine the hard way by installing it on
OS , its his choice allowed too.
For our appliance I dont think we need anything except for root password.
Last option is in case somebody have some complicated net config he needs to
implement in the engine VM on the first run
we should allow him the option to provide the cloud-init iso by himself and he
can define all he wants there.

Tolik.

[ovirt-users] ovirt-node 3.5 iso and rpm are finaly available

2015-04-02 Thread Tolik Litovsky
Hi

Nightly builds of ovirt node iso for 3.5 and master branches are now available
on jenkins.
http://jenkins.ovirt.org/user/tlitovsk/my-views/view/Node/

They are also available as RPMs for use from your engine.
And those RPM will be available on http://resources.ovirt.org/pub/ repositories
