Aldo I didnt know if this was an SELINUX problem, as I it is set to permissive
which produces the same error. thanks

Thank you for the reply. I did downgrade QEMU to the version 6 based off the
other ticket/problem and still received the same result. When sending email I
accidentally used a different email and there are two threads opened on the

I have tested this setup leveraging NFS rather than gluster and am receiving
the same error on the ansible step when guestfish injects the network
information into the hosted engine.
The ovirt ansible final clean log shows:

After doing a bit more research, I was able to get the engine to boot by
issuing CTRL-ALT-DEL through remote viewer. I am uncertain as to why that
appears to fix the problem with the engine, however after such I have added
additional hosts, and reinstalled the first host that failed on the orig

I took the info Alistair referenced, changed my FQDN's of all servers to an
XX.info and the install has successfully completed. Big thanks for the info

Yes sir, I run the clean up script after each failure, clean out the gluster
volume, and remove any network the deploy scripts create. I just conducted
the deployment on different hardware (different drives, different CPU, raid
controller, SSD's) and it produced the same result (failure at

I am trying to freshly install oVirt 4.4.1 with HCI on CentOS 8.2. I am using
the "hosted-engine --deploy" script and the installation fails at "Check the
OVF Store" consistently. I did try to apply the fix loaded on Jenkins
