I'm not sure what datasource mrtg is using, but you can use the DWH SQL API
to pull the info you want out to that datasource and then chart the info.

Is there a way to configure what data gets shown in the dashboard?
Specifically, I'd like to see network usage.
It would be nice to see total network usage on the dashboard, and have a
graph of per-VM network usage as well.
The closest I've found is the "Total" columns on the Network -> Virtual
