Re: [ovirt-users] Free Ovirt Powered Cloud
Its in the works, but I personally have no problems leaving it oob. The Ovirt developers worked very hard to create what they have, and I'm not afraid to left their flag fly. I just don't have the time right now to create all the graphics and what not. I take my rhcsa tomorrow and I have been focused on that this month :) My next step now that I see there is interest, I have plans to contact datacenters all around and see if they will donate a server or two for the cause. I know sounds ambious, but what can they tell me... no Thanks for the kudos Donny D -Original Message- From: users-boun...@ovirt.org [mailto:users-boun...@ovirt.org] On Behalf Of Greg Sheremeta Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2014 10:20 AM To: users@ovirt.org Subject: Re: [ovirt-users] Free Ovirt Powered Cloud On 12/15/2014 11:24 AM, Donny Davis wrote: Hi guys, I'm providing a free public cloud solution entirely based on vanilla oVirt called cloudspin.me http://cloudspin.me Very nice! We should at least map what's working and what does not. Just for the record, qemu's display can listen on all host addresses, or a single address (ovirt uses the latter), but in no case can it listen to one specific ipv4 address and another ipv6 address. Do you also use IPv6 internally in your deployment? e.g. assign IPv6 addresses to your hosts, storage domain, power management etc.? We'd be very interested to hear what works and what doesn't. Re: [ovirt-users] Free Ovirt Powered Cloud
I just need information on user experience, machine performance, and network connectivity. Does your machine do what you want it to do, can it host services, is your uptime(network) with reason. Things that you would expect a cloud provider to do. Thanks and enjoy. Donny.
