- Ovirt management server should be able to run as a virtual machine managed by ovirt - Clustered management server, active/passive, or even better active/active - Support for additional iternal users, so monitoring and automation don't need to rely on an external source for authentication - guest agent should have the ability to configure portions of the virtual machine -- set the hostname of the virtual machine -- configure the network information for the virtual machine -- reset root password
