It's correct as far as 10.3 goes, which is what OP asked. VirtIO-serial is 
first introduced in FreeBSD-11.

I think tihis is not correct, virtio-serial drivers are supported on
latest FreeBSD. See my old post:

[ovirt-users] BSD Guests + oVirt

Hi Guys,


Is there any optimizations for using FreeBSD 10.3 with ovirt?

The guest OS works fine, however, the engine frequently lists the wrong 
status for the VM, like rebooting, booting etc.


ovirt-guest-tools doesn't support freebsd from what I can find.
