Hi,
I tried this and it did work :)
# Log into oVirt Manager
cd /usr/share/ovirt-engine/conf
nano osinfo-defaults.properties
# Insert your new OS (i've done it after Redhat 6_x64)
# CentOS6x64(3030, OsType.Linux, true),
os.centos_6x64.id.value = 3030
os.centos_6x64.name.value = CentOS 6.x x64
os.centos_6x64.derivedFrom.value = rhel_6x64
os.centos_6x64.devices.audio.value = ich6
os.centos_6x64.devices.diskInterfaces.value = IDE, VirtIO_SCSI, VirtIO
os.centos_6x64.devices.diskInterfaces.value.3.0 = IDE, VirtIO
os.centos_6x64.devices.diskInterfaces.value.3.1 = IDE, VirtIO
os.centos_6x64.devices.diskInterfaces.value.3.2 = IDE, VirtIO
os.centos_6x64.resources.maximum.ram.value = 3145728
# Save file
service ovirt-engine stop
service ovirt-engine start
# Wait 3-4 minutes
# Edit a VM and look up the new OS in OS list
I have also tried to do this in a overload file but it does not work
