 kill -9 libvirtd pid
 /etc/init.d/vdsmd start
 tks!

stopping vdsm or libvirtd is irrelevant. maybe you should learn
about `pkill' which doesn't need to specify pid :)

It can come up useful when someone else reproduces the issue.

BTW, you don't really need to reboot: you can use

  kill -9 pid-of-your-VM

which most probably take it down, and let you restart it.

It smells like a qemu bug. We recently seen a similar behavior while
attaching host devices to the VM, but I assume this is not your case.

Please share the versions of your kernel, qemu-kvm, libvirt, and vdsm.
Include your

   virsh -r dumpxml vm_name

Does this happen with more than one VM? On different hosts?

[ovirt-users] Can not kill vm

I can not kill by oVirt.
When i power off vm by oVirt web ,It is failed.
And i use virsh destroy vm, failed too,and have list info:
