 Looking at
 http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Server/Proposals/Server_Lifecycle

 I think that with F21 you'll have Fedora Server 1.0 preview 1.
Fedora Server 1.0 final release will be based on F23.

Ah, ok. I didn't see this link that confirms what you wrote before.
Thanks,

I hope so, but looks like before we'll have Fedora Server 1.0 we have ~2

Actually I'm synchronized with Fedora 21 schedule ~ Mid October this year:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/21/Schedule

and one of its goal is indeed Fedora server:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/21/ChangeSet#Convert_Fedora_Cloud_Image_to_Fedora_Server_.28.22Adopt_Your_Cattle.22.29

So I would hope to have the first Fedora Server Release in time with
release of Fedora 21
In that case can we contribute to get adequate bits in fedora Server too?
Or am I worng?

It is not completely clear to me how does it fit with the recent announce of
CentOS sponsored by Red Hat and several CentOS SIGs... but nevertheless
 it could bring value too...

[ovirt-users] Fedora 20 as hypervisor

2014-05-02 Thread Markus Stockhausen
Hello,

did not find any discussion thread about this topic.
Is Fedora 20 already fully supported as hypervisor
host for OVirt 3.4 environments?

Thanks.

Markus

Well, as already noted in the BZ it is quite a mess
because atm it's used to track engine and node/vdsm
related bugs for fedora 20, which should get separated.

On the Engine node we still have a few issues, but as of ovirt-3.4.1
(pending imminent release) the hypervisor side is fine.

Two relevant patches fixed for 3.4.1 are

Bug 1078312 - F20 ovirt host installation fails due to python-ethtool
SystemError
Bug 1060383 - vdsm requires a compatible plugin with sos 3

and I am not aware of any other one. Please try it out!
