Hi,

You just need to remove/comment out the fluentd_elasticsearch_host from the
config.yml file in /etc/ovirt-engine-metrics/config.yml
After that just run the the script
/usr/share/ovirt-engine-metrics/configure_ovirt_machines_for_metrics.sh
 --playbook=manage-ovirt-metrics-services.yml -e "service_enabled='no'
service_state='stopped'"
And you are done

Best regards,

Thanks Shirly.
This is a playbook for stopping the fluentd and collectd services on nodes. But
if you add new nodes to the cluster, the services fluentd and collectd will be
deployed and will try to connect to elasticsearch.
Is there a playbook to completely remove?

2019-03-20 Thread Shirly Radco
It is mentioned in the help. You should run the following from your
engine machine:

/usr/share/ovirt-engine-metrics/configure_ovirt_machines_for_metrics.sh
 --playbook=manage-ovirt-metrics-services.yml -e "service_enabled='no'
service_state='stopped'"
