Hi The RTEMS Project has previously participated in the Google Code-In program for high school students. We have gotten good work done. However, this program requires more community involvement than GSoC. GSoC is a handful of college students doing large projects. GCI is a lot of high school students doing small (1-2 day) tasks. These are tasks which anyone using RTEMS could guide and evaluate.
The past few years we have declined to participate because we could not get enough users committed. This resulted in a burden on a handful of people like Gedare, Jennifer, Chris, and myself. This is a good program but unless a significant number of folks using RTEMS step up, we will be pragmatic and decline again. Thanks. --joel ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Google Code-in Announce <gci-annou...@googlegroups.com> Date: Wed, Aug 29, 2018 at 2:41 PM Subject: [gci-announce] Google Code-in 2018 starts October 23rd for students!
