No, I think you are thinking of CalDAV (for calendars) which allows you
to configure the URL.
Unfortunately with CardDAV on iphone and in address book this is
hardcoded. Thanks Apple...

I wonder if it's possible to use an external SMTP server which requires

So aggain, I had a look into the settings of a german iphone, so maybe the
translation is not exact. But anyway, you can find the settings under:
Settings - Mail/contacts/Calendar - Add Account - Other - CardDAV
Hope that helps!

Hi Torsten,
Yes, the option for CardDAV exists on the iphone, but it does not work

Torsten, Do you also work with Pascal Gienger?
Maybe you have the same servers (not sure about how uni's share
resources in germany). Pascal seems to have been working on rewrites in
Apache to get this to work, maybe this is why you have had some success.

Looks like there's a bug open for this:

So I assume then that a clean install of Thunderbird 3, rather than an
upgrade from 2 would solve the issue?

Hi, do you plan to make it possible to override this without editing the
integrator xpi?
Is there a bug on this, or do you have a spesific reasoning for not
allowing any other ways to set the server path?
Well, the SOGo Integrator has more configuration options than just the
server path.
So my boss just scheduled a recurring monthly meeting with me for the next
school year - every third Thursday of the month at 3:00pm. Looks exactly right
