Hi Pascal,
Thank you for the tip on using the 8443 port.
Regarding the query itself, I am going to implement it today so it
should work afterwards...
Cheers,

Torsten, Do you also work with Pascal Gienger?
Maybe you have the same servers (not sure about how uni's share
resources in germany). Pascal seems to have been working on rewrites in
Apache to get this to work, maybe this is why you have had some success.

I have not gotten it to work on my iPhone 3g with ios 4.0.
My fields under CardDav are:
Account on/off
Server:
User Name:
Password:
Description
- Advanced -
Use SSL: on/off
Port:
The server setting only allows first level domain entry, ie
yourdomian.org NOT /SOGo/dav/etc
When this info is ent
I think your mistaken.
I would be happy to be proven wrong though! - Can anyone else get this
to work as described by Torsten?

Yes I'm sure! I tested it with SOGo 1.2.2 and without https!
Maybe I've to say that the there are four entries
(server, user, password, description) and the last one is the URL-field:
http://*servername*/SOGo/dav/*username*/Contacts/personal/

Hi Torsten,
Yes, the option for CardDAV exists on the iphone, but it does not work
with SOGo. Are you sure you tested this and received/sent contacts from
your phone to SOGo?

So aggain, I had a look into the settings of a german iphone, so maybe the
translation is not exact. But anyway, you can find the settings under:
Settings -> Mail/contacts/Calendar -> Add Account -> Other -> CardDAV
Hope that helps!

Unfortunately with CardDAV on iphone and in address book this is
hardcoded. Thanks Apple...
It simply does a PROPFIND / on Port 8843 (SSL) to the given server.

I don't own an iphone, but I think there is something like "Contacts"->"Add
Account" -> "CardDAV"
There you can add server, user, password and URL.

Has anyone been able to get the new CardDAV support on iPhone 4 to work
directly with SOGo? We've been unsuccessful thus far as it appears that
Apple is using a different URL scheme to access a CardDAV server.
