[SOGo] Sieve and out of the office
Hi I'm having this problem with SOGo and sieve (dovecot pigeonhole). I can set an auto answer and I see a sogo.sieve script in the user home folder but when someone sends an email to that account no auto answer is sent. There is no error in SOGo or dovecot logs. And cron jobs are executed but nothing happens. I tried to execute sogo-ealarms-notify as sogo user and nothing happens either. So I tried to run it through strace -f and it seems there is something wrong when sogo-ealarms-notify tries to connect to the MySQL server. I have alarms enabled in SOGo configuration, I set OCSEMailAlarmsFolderURL and I can connect and read to the database server using OCSEMailAlarmsFolderURL's value. I would appreciate any help here because I don't know where else I can take a look at. Re: [SOGo] Funambol: Officer not working / How to workaround
And there might be the problem: localhost could resolve to the local ipv6 address, on which sogo might not be bound. try 127.0.0.1 instead mfg No, since the existing file was ok. 'Localhost' and port 2. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Reminder in Thunderbird but not in SOGo with group calendar and other problem
Hi, may be this was discussed somewhere, but I did not find anything related yet: I do have created a calendar for our department in sogo and allow my coworkers to add and edit appointments. Now I can see the appointments in Thunderbird/Lightning 17.0.2, see that there is a reminder 30 Minutes ahead of the appointment, but do not get any notification. In sogo I dont see that there is a reminder set at all. One other coworker added the calendar to his Thunderbird/Lightning 17.0.2, get the data loaded and reminders pop up. But he cant close the reminders, he can only close the reminder window. Than the calendar is marked as offline. If he tries to close a reminder he gets the error MODIFICATION_FAILED Servre Replies with 403 May be someone has an explanation? Any suggestion is welcome. sogo-2.0.3a-1.centos6.x86_64 Regards . [SOGo] DB Backend
We are a MySQL shop but installed PostgreSQL for SOGo based on the recommendation listed in the SOGo Install Guide. Is their a reason one DB backend is recommended over the other for SOGo? We are considering moving SOGo to our clustered MySQL environment, but would like more information about the PROs / CONs of doing so with respect to SOGo. Re: [SOGo] DB Backend
Hi Ron, I would not not start the DB fight here ;-) Just google for mysql versus postgres. You will be offered lots of information. The decision to use postgresql is a wise one as this is a very mature, free, transactional databse. The main points will be: 1. It is really free and open source. No dual license what so ever. 2. It is very sql standard conform and often comes into place when seeking a replacement for oracle. 3. It is very well documented. 4. Is is a object relational database (you can inherit tables) 5. It has a big choice PL/pgSQL,PL/Tcl, PL/Perl, PL/Python, PL/Java, PL/PHP, PL/Py, PL/R, PL/Ruby, PL/Scheme, PL/sh (to mention a few ;-) etc. etc. You see where my preference is ;-) But if you like, you could also go with MS Access or Firebird? Where is the difference between MS Access / Firebird compared to MS SQL? Re: [SOGo] DB Backend
Hi, to be a bit more honest. I think you will find some differences in SQL and probably have to adapt the DB-Model (regarding Types). I am not sure if Sogo uses a persistance framework layer such that a DB migration would be quite easy. If not then general documentation (google) about migrating from Postgres to MySQL will give you the clue. [SOGo] authentication with kerberos

[SOGo] SOGo times out when connecting from localhost
Hi out there, I've setup sogo on an ubuntu server 12.04 system. After following the provided documentation all workes fine for a few weeks. But now I've this situation: I can logon into sogo web interface from any external internet IP through my router on my server running SOGo. But I can not log on into sogo web interface from localhost or my internal LAN anymore(but this was working a few days ago!?) From localhost/LAN after entering my credentials the web interface times out. I've spent lot of time searching what went wrong but hopefully someone can give me a hint where I can look to fix this. I guess thats maybe a problem with the domain name when trying to logon from localhost/LAN? It was working from both - I swear - and I cannot remember that I have changed something in the configuration that causes this problem. So I'm really confused at the moment :-/ My /etc/apache2/conf.d/SOGo.conf is set to RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-port 443 RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-name mysogopc.no-ip.org RequestHeader set x-webobjects-server-url https://mysogopc.no-ip.org; Here are the logs from sogo.log and apache2 ssl_Access.log. As you can see from localhost/LAN it stoppes after GET /SOGo/my.n...@my-domain.com/view What could be the reason for it? I hope someone can give me hint! Re: [SOGo] Sieve and out of the office
2013/1/10 Jean Raby jr...@inverse.cat. Then I guess this is a problem with dovecot configuration of the sieve plugin (managesieve works correctly since the scripts are created) How does your mta deliver mails to dovecot? Is the sieve plugin enabled for that delivery method? (LDA, LMTP) See http://wiki2.dovecot.org/**Pigeonhole/Sieve/Configurationhttp://wiki2.dovecot.org/Pigeonhole/Sieve/Configuration Thanks. That was the problem. I'm using postfix as MTA and it was configured to use virtual as transport instead of the one named dovecot that uses dovecot-lda.
