[SOGo] can't accept appointment invitation to mail-alias over SOGo mail modul
Hei everyone, Is it possible to accept an appointment invitation through SOGo mail modul although the mail address of the invitee is neither on the attendee list nor in my user sources? Ldap user sources: ldapsearch -x -LLL -H ldaps://ldap -b ou=users,dc=augsburg,dc=de uid=thomas mail dn: uid=thomas,ou=users,dc=augsburg,dc=de mail: thomas.winterst...@.rz.uni-augsburg.de The invitation goes to 'postmas...@uni-augsburg.de' which is a mail-alias for 'thomas.winterst...@rz.uni-augsburg.de'. The SOGo mail modul shows the event invitation mail with appointment but there are no options to process it. Also I don't want to add the mail-alias to my user sources. regards -- Thomas Winterstein ... http://www.rz.uni-augsburg.de/zebra Universität Augsburg, Rechenzentrum . Tel. [SOGo] LDAP address book not visible
Hello, I'm trying to add a LDAP global address book to my SoGo 3.1 installation on Ubuntu server, but with no luck. I want to use it only as an address book, not for authentication, which is done using MSQL and working well. I have added SOGoUserSources = ( { type = ldap; CNFieldName = cn; UIDFieldName = uid; IDFieldName = uid; // first field of the DN for direct binds bindFields = (uid, cn); // array of fields to use for indirect binds baseDN = "ou=admini,dc=iba,dc=muni,dc=cz"; bindDN = "cn=admin,dc=iba,dc=muni,dc=cz"; bindPassword = "secret"; canAuthenticate = NO; displayName = "Address book"; hostname = ldap://127.0.0.1:389; id = adresar; isAddressBook = YES; scope = SUB; userPasswordAlgorithm = ssha; } ); But this source does not show up in the Web UI at all (no "Address book" visible among Global Addressbooks). I have enabled the LDAPDebugEnabled option, but nothing concerning LDAP appears in the log. What am I doing wrong? Thanx Roman smime.p7s Description: S/MIME cryptographic signature
[SOGo] Upgrading 2.3->3.1
Hi there, We are looking to upgrade, and I am curious to know if it is possible to run both 2.3 and 3.1 at the same time (testing, etc.)? I would imagine I need to run the database schema update to 3.0.0 (via sql-update-3.0.0-to-combined-mysql.sh), but will this make any changes to the database that would be incompatible with 2.3? And also, does 3.1 store data any differently in any existing tables that would cause a problem? Thank you! ~ Laz Peterson Paravis, LLC -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] OpenChange and multiple domains
Hello, I’ve been looking at OpenChange to configure native Outlook functionality, but have been hesitant for quite a while, since we have multiple active directory domains that SOGo is authenticating from. Has anyone had any experience with multiple domains and OpenChange/SOGo? SOGo itself works great with the multiple domains … But it seems OpenChange is not so friendly, requiring the server itself to be joined to the AD as a domain controller — I really don’t want to have to create a new OpenChange host for each domain. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! ~ Laz Peterson Paravis, LLC -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] What is better for battery on mobile devices?
Hello, ActiveSync works great for battery life in my experience. Especially, if the connection to the device is kept open for a long time without reconnection (24 hours for example). But as I understood, this keeps a connection open (until a timeout of 6 minutes I guess). What is the preferred solution for iOS devices? Does ActiveSync have a negative impact for the battery? [SOGo] Short drag accidentally deletes calendar entry
Just stumbled across a potentially annoying bug: Situation: Calendar view with at least one calendar entry being displayed. Short drag/drop (like 1mm to the right) of the item (quickly, without waiting for the frontend to realize what's going on) makes the item pop up it's description. From here, there is nothing (not even edit->save) that can prevent the item from being deleted the moment the dialog is closed. Especially in environments with a laggy webinterface this can become very annoying! Best, Bb -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
