Thank you, we are on v3.2.7 now, maybe something is changed since our
version?
It will take some time to upgrade as we are using our styles for
Angular, after every update they need to be adjusted.

I'll report back here after the upgrade to v.3.2.8.

Impossible for me in Firefox/Chromium.
Nothing happens if I click the name in the list.

Re: [SOGo] Storage encryption in SOGo

2017-03-31 Thread Mikhail Emelchenkov
Obviously, he cannot recover his data then. There are number of solutions to
help, like storing unencrypted passwords on non connected to lan machine with
restricted access, or having universal "master" key to decrypt. My use-case
does not lays in this area, I use SOGo for Calendars/Contacts and ActiveSync
for iPhone and fully control my own server. Use-case for end-users in
organisation is different, of course.

[SOGo] Calendars - persistent colours?

2017-03-31 Thread Peter TKATCHENKO

Hello,

Every time I come to "Calendar" part of SOGo Web interface, I see the
colour of my default calendar and all other calendars reset to the
default (grey). I can change it it calendar's properties, but it works
till logout. If I open a session again - my colours are gone, everything
is grey again. Is there any way to make these changes persistent?

Best regards,
Peter

Haha, yes, I really forgot about Dovecot behind :)). But Contacts/Calendar are
embedded in SOGo.

[SOGo] Sharing calendars

2017-03-31 Thread Peter TKATCHENKO

Hello,

We are trying to create a procedure of sharing calendars between users
of SOGo, installed with OpenLDAP backend (iRedMail) on Debian Jessie.

The problem is that users cannot access to shared calendars of other
users before an administrator changes the permissions of the shared
calendars.

So actually the procedure should be like follows:
1. User1 shares his calendar with User2.
2. Admin goes to ACLs management and modifies the permissions of
calendar, shared by User1 for User2.

3. User2 subscribes the shared calendar of User1.

This procedure seems to be a little bit hard to put in place, as for
every shared calendar an administrator must reconfigure ACLs.

When I check the documents of SOGo v2 - I see that these ACLs to manage
are available in user's web interface. This is not the case in SOGo v3,
the end user, sharing his calendar, has no options to modify the
permissions. Is it a bug of Web interface v3? Is it possible to change
the default permissions for any shared calendar (for example, from
'Nothing' to 'Read')? Is there another way to simplify the sharing of
calendars?

Hope to be clear in my questions.

Best regards,
Peter

Right, but what if user forgots old password and ask admin for
the new one?

I don’t think you understand what SOGo is, or how it works…it doesn’t store
your email, that is done by your email server.

Hi!

Is any kind of storage encryption planning to implement in SOGo? I think about
this one: encrypt everything (mail, contacts, calendar) with a key encrypted
with user password which a user send at authentication time. Imagine, if VPS
where SOGo is installed will be hacked, and whole mail archive will be
accessible to a hacker.
