[SOGo] Thunderbird Plugin vor Version 68

2019-11-11 Thread Christian Naumer
Hello,
es habe Just how noticed tust with the new version 68 plugin address book sync
only works up to ~200 contacts ±30. I only noticed this now as I made a new
profile for a user that has this address book with 4000 contacts and he had 0
of those and only some of his other address books were complete. So a deleted
and subscribed all of them desperately and those with less than 200 were all
complete only the one with 4000 got stuck at some number around 200
(217,230,220 etc). There is nothing in the error console of TB and nothing on
the server in the logs. Sync just stops after those 200.
I can reproduce this if I subscribe to the address book so I don't think it is
account related.
This works with TB60 and the old plugin. That is how I got the user their
address book back. New profile on TB60 sync the address book and then upgrade.

Can anybody reproduce this? Anything I can do to debug?

Regards

Christian

Re: [SOGo] Users can't configure clients to use ActiveSync

2019-11-11 Thread Ludovic Marcotte

Hi Bob,

Which version of SOGo and SOPE are you using?

Thanks,

I'm not certain if I understand your third point.   The URL I'm using

Since I posted my original message I've done a lot of additional

processes available.   I've tried increasing WOWorkerCount
unsuccessfully.   When I attempt to increase this count I begin
obtaining the "sogod [1716]: [ERROR] <0x0x5595d0273e50[WOHttpAdaptor]>

I'm able to start exactly 508 workers.   When I attempt 509 workers
the error appears and SOGo shutdown quickly after startup.
I believe this may be OS related but I can't solve it. I've changed
/etc/security/limits.d/20-nproc.conf to include:

sogo   soft    nproc   unlimited
sogoeas    soft    nproc   unlimited
root   soft    nproc   unlimited

No difference.
I’ve also tried changing /etc/security/limits.conf to include:
sogo   -   stack   32768
sogo   -   nproc   8192
sogoeas    -   stack   32768

I'm researching thread/process limits per user in Linux.   So far I
haven't had any success.

Hello

3 things

First thing, what does Sogo's logs say?

Second thing, the Office version, is that the last one?

3rd thing, when you add the URL with the subdomain with
/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync, you add it without the "https",
because if you add it, was that my mistake, it actually adds an
error message.

Have a good day

We've recently begun receiving reports from some of our
students indicating they can't configure their phones to
access Sogo.   I've verified this using iOS and an
encountering the problem as well.

Users select to add a Microsoft Exchange account, enter their
e-mail address, select to configure manually when prompted,
enter their password when prompted, then click next.   iOS
displays "Verifying..." for a few seconds and then prompts for
more information.   They enter the correct server, username,
and password then click next.   After a pause of about a
minute with "Verifying" displayed the error "Unable to verify
account information" appears.

I've been checking both my nginx and sogo logs and can't find
any details on the problem.

I'm running a separate instance for eas traffic as specified
at

_https://sogo.nu/support/faq/dedicated-separate-sogo-instance-for-activesync.html_

The nginx logs are showing a LOT of ActiveSync traffic.   I
believe this problem is related to something in my
configuration, not users ability to access our server.   It
appears users who have preexisting configs are fine.   New
users can’t seem to configure their devices.

I am seeing the following errors within my SOGo log:
Nov 06 10:05:45 sogod [32707]: [ERROR]

Re: [SOGo] Gmail app on Android devices no longer works with ActiveSync

2019-11-11 Thread John Underwood
Exactly the same here. Coincided with Android upgrades. Reverting to the
previous GMail app sorted it for all the users but isn't a long term
solution.

Yes, I am currently running the latest (upgraded today hoping issue could be
fixed by bug) nightly build of SOGo on our EAS dedicated server and
unfortunately it has no effect.

I found another thread addressing this issue with msn.com services.
https://support.google.com/fi/thread/19051201?hl=en

So far it seems to be an issue on the Google side (too strict security settings
or bug?).

Cheers

Yes, absolutely!  Started yesterday afternoon for me following a GMail
update.

The popular belief is that it is related to this device admin deprecation:

https://developers.google.com/android/work/device-admin-deprecation

I have had to switch several users to Cal/CardDAV to immediately
overcome the issue.  Sadly I'm still running SOGo 3 with multi-table
database.  My intention is to upgrade to SOGo 4 as soon as possible.

I see 4.1.1 release notes listed "fixed EAS provisioning support for
Outlook/iOS".  Does this provisioning fix possibly also apply to Android
and push a profile suitable for the new Google rules? Would be useful to
know from anyone running the latest release...

Not that easy.
You need to create another database.
With 9 tables setup you need to restore your whole Backup.
Then select the data from the user and export them.
Afterwards import that data into your active SOGo database.

With old table setup, you have to find the tables corresponding to your
user.
Restore and export those and import into the productive SOGo database.

Better use sogo-tool backup and sogo-tool restore.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack
