2010-11-03 Thread Wolfgang Sourdeau

Thanks for all the replies.
If the prefix "/inverse.ca" does not affect Thunderbird Lightning to
show calendar items, that's fine.
But still it looks ugly from TB side when I check mark the option
"Timezone", it just shows up like this:
*/inverse.ca/20091015_1/America/Toronto*
I think the timezone has nothing to do with the prefix
"*/inverse.ca/20091015_1/*"
Timezone is timezone, "*America/Toronto*" is enough.
If I ask somebody what is your timezone, and he says: "my timezone is
*'/inverse.ca/20091015_1/America/Toronto'". *This is weird.

The reason for this is that there is no "display name" for VTIMEZONE
elements. It's a hole in the VCALENDAR spec... Nothing we really can do
about unfortunately.

I should add that I have just found this conversation:

http://mail.opengroupware.org/pipermail/sogo/2008-September/001275.html

Which suggests that the problem is in versions of Apache Commons being used.

Would you know which versions are expected ? Or is this a Funambol problem ?
(I hope the former!)

The versions I have installed are:

commons-collections-3.2.1.jar
commons-configuration-1.6.jar
commons-lang-2.5.jar
commons-logging-1.1.1.jar

And the MySQL connector I am using is:

[SOGo] Inverse SOGo demo system: Calendar view defunct

2010-11-03 Thread Marcel Waldvogel
Dear Inverse hackers,

trying to access a URL of the form
http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/so/sogo1/Calendar or
http://sogo-demo.inverse.ca/SOGo/so/sogo3/Calendar does not work (for sogo1,
the login fails, as Calendar is the default view, for sogo3, switching to the
Calendar view results in failure. The message is as follows:

> Proxy Error
>
> The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
> The proxy server could not handle the request GET /SOGo/so/sogo3/Calendar.
>
> Reason: Error reading from remote server
>

-Marcel

PS: What is the "official" way to report problems with the demo setup?

cat /etc/sysconfig/sogo
# The amount of processes that should be spawned (Default: 1)
PREFORK=2

Is what I changed.

Hi, I just thought I'd report that I've been troubled by the same issue
as some others have reported on the list[1].

What seems to have fixed it for me was increasing the nr of Sogo
preforks from 1 to 2. This is with a 10 user setup so 1 worker should be
enough, so this might be a concurrency issue.

What do you have change? WOWorkersCount parameter? Do you have set 2 for ten
workers?

[SOGo] sogo shared email folders not working - how to?

2010-11-03 Thread alexpfeiffer
hi all,

i am trying to enable shared email folders on my sogo installation (ubuntu
10.04 lucid lynx / mysql, postfix, dovecot, ldap, sogo 1.3.3) but can't get it
to work.

now my quetsion is: do i need to configure dovecot with shared namespaces or
ist this handled by sogo? anyone has experience with the combination
sogo-dovecot and shared email folders?

i am able to set the acls in the web interface (sharing of an email folder) and
these setting are also properly saved.

thanks for your help.

best regards, alexander pfeiffer

Aha! I did not know this, but should I still be able to authenticate as I do
in SOGo ?

Yes: I did change both the hostname (sogo) and the port number (2) to
point at my SOGo installation.

Thanks again.
