Hello Ludovik and Francis,

Thanks for your help. I removed all the installed packages. Removed
all the SOGo reference in /user/GNUstep. Fresh install the SOGo with
all my existing config both apache/sogo and .gnustep. Hurra, almighty
all worked back to normal. Francis you are right about those .wox old
installations.

Now, I am ready to update our production one.

Once again, thanks for your great support.

The login page is not loading the latest version of
SOGoRootPage.wox. Make sure there's only one version installed.

I started do debug LDAP connection and now I know that the problem was
in my LDAP namespace configuration.
This line (write access) solves the problem:

allow write access to any by self

By the way SOGo shouldn't report success when it was no success.

I have a hosting services on my server too so users can access
memcached via localhost so pf probably won't help.

This works for me, but I already run 1.3.9. Do you see anything in the LDAP
logs?
SOGo will be updated on OpenBSD -current to 1.3.9 in the next days ;)

maybe its sufficient for you to protect it with PF like proposed in the

No idea about the other problems, but I think they are more general, and not
bound to OpenBSD.

[SOGo] CardDAV sync on iPhone

2011-11-13 Thread Georg Bretschneider
Hi,

I can't create a CardDAV account on my iPhone (iOS 5).
Error message: Couldn't verify account informations.

I read the following for help:
http://www.mail-archive.com/users@sogo.nu/msg06051.html
http://wiki.sogo.nu/iOS (plus attachements)

Apache is listening on port 8443 and I can establish a secure connection
in my webbrowser. When I connect to https://:8843 I will be
asked for my credentials and then a blank page is shown.

I setup my config mails as suggested in the above links. CalDAV syncing
works without a problem. I also specified the exact port during my
CardDAV account creation on my iPhone.

The error logs aren't filled with any errors.

Does anybody has a suggestion for me?

btw: I setup SOGo for a multi domain environment, so far everything
works like a charm. And the SOGo TB Connector isn't compatible with TB
8.0. Will the addon be updated anytime soon?

Bye
Georg

[SOGo] Funambol does not Sync to Sogo, sync error on sogo-cal sogo-card

2011-11-13 Thread Matt
Hi All,

I have installed this great software on an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS installation
which works perfectly.

I also installed Funambol 10.0.3 and the 1.08 sogo connector.

All using tutorials like this:

http://www.clearfoundation.com/component/option,com_kunena/Itemid,232/catid,33/func,view/id,24885/

Funambol itself works great with their client to funambol, I can sync. But
when I set the calendar to sogo-cal I get sync errors and in the
ds-server.log I can see the following:

[SOGo] Some small problems

2011-11-13 Thread Bambero
Hello,

I configured SOGo 1.3.8.1 on my OpenBDS with success but there are some
problems I want to report/ask.

1.Password change do not work. I have positive message that password is
changed but in my LDAP tree there is still old password and when relogin I
have to use old password.

2. Sieve filters are (probably) stored in database and when i change
filters with other client such as thunderbird sieve extension or roundcube
SOGo can't see them.

3. Missed memcached authorization. Unauthorized memcached is not secure
enough on some wide accessible systems. Disabling memcached functionality
could be nice in config too.

4. I''m using full email as username (and multidomain only for settings
separation) and when sharing folders via IMAP sogo app adds domain to my
account so it looks like j...@example.org@example.org.

5. When setting share doubleclick is not very obvious so maybe its possible
to add an icon.

6. Are there any plans to be able to add more than one cellphone ?

Below is my config maybe it help to someone.

Many thanks for developers REALLY GOOD JOB. I'm waiting for next releases.

Regards,
Bambero

[SOGo] SOGo address book to LDAP field mapping

2011-11-13 Thread Ian McMichael
I've spent a few hours this afternoon trying to work out how the LDAP
attributes map to the fields displayed in the properties of the SOGo
shared address books.

Take, for example, the Web Page field in the Work section of the Address
tab in the SOGo address book. If I fill this in the personal address
book and export it, the LDIF uses the schema mozillaAbPersonObsolete
with the attribute workurl. In my LDAP DIT I have the schema
mozillaAbPersonAlpha defined with the attribute mozillaWorkUrl populated.

As the work URL was not displaying, I located and loaded the
mozillaAbPersonObsolete schema and updated the attribute to workurl.
However, this was also unsuccessful at displaying the value for the
attribute in the SOGo contact properties page.

Is there a table anywhere that maps the SOGo address book fields to LDAP
attributes? This would save me many hours of experimentation.

Thanks in advance,

Re: [SOGo] Problems with Lightning & Thunderbird 3

After that I've installed the Inverse version of Lightning (1.0b2.106). With
this version it has been possible to add a Caldav calendar, it has been

happens when I click 'Save and Close'.

I've spent quite some time diagnosing exactly the same issue.
Unfortunately for me (and only for one user account) everything started
working in the middle of my diagnostics and didn't lead me to any useful
conclusions.

I'm running MySQL as the database back-end to 1.3.9 on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
(64 bit). I have not really found any hard errors to go on. I have
tested the 106 release of the connector and integrator on Thunderbird
3.1.15 and 3.1.16 on Windows and Linux (32 bit) with the issues
appearing on all combinations. I also have Mac OS X users with 3.1.15
complaining of the same symptoms.

Any further information much appreciated...
