[SOGo] No connect from Apache Directory Studio, addressbook question
Hi, if I try to connect from Apache Directory Studio as documented on sogo webpage with: DNcn=admin,dc=example,dc=com Password sogo I get the error: [LDAP: error code 49 - Simple Bind Failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE] What are the credentials to use for the admin? Other question: I see that the admin account is configured to be an addressbook with display name Shared Addresses. They also appear in all accounts. How to use them? I an not add any addresses to it. How to bind from external TB client? Tnx and best regards, Matt -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

You don't see any addresses in it, because the global address book is only searchable, not listable. To see some addresses, just enter something in the search bar on the right side. Then SOGo will display some matching addresses. These are limited, in our case it will display at most 25 matching entries (unsorted!). 3. When adding a addressbook it can not be accessed from TB. [SOGo] Mixed SOGo topics
Hi Christian, tnx for the explanations. Sorry, for not telling you that I have done all the DAV-Stuff (what a rhyme ;-). So 3. still does not work. Steps: 1. Login via web interface with sogo1 2. Create a new address book addr (any name). 3. Insert an example entry. 4. Configure it in TB with .../dav/sogo1/Contacts/addr 5. will not work ;-) Only .../dav/sogo1/Contacts/personal works. Same thing happens with the address book Contacts which is shown via the web interface. I am testing this as I plan, like you told below, to create one user who exports multiple address books. Regarding calendar it worked so far. Regarding the TB release this is not feasible as we will stick to the TB of the OS releases. For the connector this should not be a problem, or? The administration stuff can easily be done via the web interface, or? Later on it will be more interesting how to migrate/integrate our already running postfix and cyrus server. This will be quite a bit of work, I think. Re: [SOGo] Mixed SOGo topics
Hi Christian, the issue with the address book seems to be a bug. The link for the personal (which works) address book is: http://sogo/SOGo/dav/sogo1/Contacts/personal/ Whereas the link for the created address book addr is: http://sogo/SOGo/dav/sogo1/Contacts/4ED-4FCDD180-1-4A154E00/ This link also works. So it will not be created clear text. Best regards, Matt Am 05.06.2012 11:38, schrieb Buddy Butterfly: Hi Christian, tnx for the explanations. You can see this UID when opening the example entry for editing in the browsers address bar. Use that and it will work. The administration stuff can easily be done via the web interface, or? Most of it, can be done via web interface. Backups should be done on the command line with sogo-tool. [SOGo] Looking for a way to change default privacy for a new event
Hi, new on this list I have to deploy a Sogo server for nearly 40 people to be used with lightning avec ical compatibility. The server is installed and working. The problem i have is that default privacy state is set to public. I'd like to change it to private (as lightning default conf) of confidential. I found a post in this list archive ( http://www.mail-archive.com/users@sogo.nu/msg00153.html done on 20/05/2010) but there were no answer and i didn't understand what to do to have the choice (by fixing it in gnustep conf file for example).
