Re: Re: [SOGo] [OT] Casifying IMAP
I have done Dovecot and Exim authentication by built-in Samba LDAP backend without any others LDAP servers. At least It authenticates users with passwords = its login names, for users with its password != its login names authentication is failed. I don' t know yet why. But there are some other issues / bugs with SOGo / Openchange / Samba beta1 with Dovecot in way of IMAP. You can read my posts in mailing list here and in SOGo bug tracking system. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

But which database? The SOGo database? If so, why doesn't the sogo daemon have any permission problems (it created the initial tables without problems). The SOGo database user owns the database, so he has all rights. I didn't configure any other DB user. > On 05.07.2012 14:50, Thorsten Meinl wrote: >> Hi, >> >> I set up all components for the outlook connector as described in the >> manual using the nightly Ubuntu builds. I know that SOGo is already going towards 2.0, but some customers do not like beta software (that is not my opinion) and also want to give this release some time, before testing this. So I actually do not have any chance other than using Funambol. So any help would really be great. Re: [SOGo] authenticating via PostgreSQL

As I mentioned I can see the query at PostgreSQL's log, so drivers must be working. Just to discard an authentication problem with SHA support, I tested plain method, but the error stays the same. I suppose SOGo doesn't understand PostgreSQL's answer, I'll check again the database structure. Thanks again, -- Seb @ Mendoza / Argentina -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] Can't get outlook connector to work
Hi, I set up all components for the outlook connector as described in the manual using the nightly Ubuntu builds. I can create an account in Windows/Outlook but as soon as I start Outlook the samba process dies with /usr/sbin/samba: Uncaught exception MAPIStoreIOException, reason: could not create special table 'socfs_thorsten.meinl' Anyone an idea what is wrong here? Sorry, I read the opposite scenario. So you definitely have an issue with your installation. Is there any error in the log?
