[SOGo] Suggestions on what to ask/report where ....
Hi, I'v installed the recent release SOGo 2.0.1 and we try a lot of things like sharing calendars, different browsers etc. Currently we'r faced with some question which I can't categorise into 'wrong configuration', 'bug' or sort of 'is that the way it is'. 1. The context popup menu for changing existing calendars seams to be broken in Firefox 16.0.1 Mac OS X. I can't access 'Properties' and 'Sharing'; Safari Chrome work on the same Mac. The other topics New/Delete/Export/Import Calendar work. Doubleclicking the Calendar opens the popup for Properties/Links. 2. I have shared one calendar with my coworkers; currently they can see the appointment (time, description invited people etc.) I have set a reminder which will pop up e.g. 15 Minutes before the event and so it pops up also on the coworkers calendar app (Thunderbird/Lightning) But he cant close that reminder or set an own reminder time because he has no right to change the object. Errorcode MODIFICATION_FAILED Status-Code 403. The access right to the calendar is public/confidential/private : View All. May be that's by design ... I'd expect, that I can publish a calendar and subsribers can also set there own reminders on appointments; some need one hour I'd liek 15 minutes But they should not be allowed to change the whole appointments or reminder time for all invited people. More to come :) Should i open a Mantis report for that? Regards . There was a discussion, that Reminders should only be active if you have write access to the calendar. But you can disable reminders in the Properties of this calendar in the webinterface and in Thunderbird/Lightning see Show alarms or Show reminders. May be that's by design ... Re: [SOGo] meeting request/invitation
Any answer or hint? We have the same problem with BlackBerry 9900 (BBos 7.0) and SOGo 2.0.1 (with Postfix) 2012/9/13 p.galea...@abanet.it I did some searching on the archive without any success so I ask this question. SOGo 1.3.18 - Postfix 2.7.1 - Blackberry client (9300 or 9800) - IPAD 2 When inviting participants to events, either from TB or from WEB interface, it happens that: - if the participant has a BB and his account is on a Postfix/dovecot mail server, he receives the invitation with empty body and unopenable attachment; of course he can't take any action (the attachment is named application/X-rimdevicecalendar) - if the participant has a BB and his account is on an exchange server, he receives the invitation as a mail with unopenable attachment BUT the full event description in the body; still, he can't take any action. - if the participant has an IPAD the mail client receives the invitation and everythng is fine (including put it in the local calendar) except for he can't take any action (can't see any way to react (accept, declien, ecc.) toward the meeting organizer (the attachment is named mime-attachment.ics) - if the participant uses Outlook he cand do anything, but in order to answer to the invitation he has to open the .ics mail attachment Am i missing some basic configuration actions (in SOGo, Postfix, dovecot), or are there some compatibility issues ? Hope somebody can anwser or point out some previous answers in this regards Many thanks Paolo Galeazzi -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists -- Louis-Philippe Gauthier -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: [SOGo] ZEG 2.0 outlook 2007
Hi Wolfgang, I retested with latest ZEG (2.0.1) with the same result. I tried following combination: OL 2007 on WINXP and OL 2007 on Win7 . The result is always the same - sending an email fails with 0x80040115. I've no problem with receiving mails and have no problem to sync calendar and address book. Do you have any hint on what could be wrong? Thanks, Thomas -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Hi, It#39;s the same for me (getting 0x80040115), using OL2007 and Win7 64bit. I was hit by this bug since the RC versions of SOGo with OpenChange.
