Wouldn't that be great??! I guess it would ease migrations to SOGo for
MANY people, because installing on new hardware seems like a rather
common scenario...

Or is something like this possible already..?
You could use sogo-tool and do this for all your users, if you know
their passwords.

RE: [SOGo] blackberry client for Sogo

2012-12-29 Thread K B
hmm, first time sync works on BB Bold 9900, but now it stops syncing after 125
contacts.
I'm getting cold feet over the Funambol device client capability, the SOGO
project looks great, but I sinply can't get a client to act reliable yet. Is it
just my devices?

Also the Funambol forum states no BB10 support planned, which renders this
project of mine utterly useless, as 85% of my client base is guaranteed to
upgrade to BB10 within a month of its release. (not exagerating either :) )

Re: [SOGo] Login Problem/TB calendar not available/Browser cache (aka Thunderbird ESR 10.0.7 (+ Lightning 1.2.3) and SOGo 1.3.18a/2.0.2 aka VCALENDAR component)

2012-12-29 Thread Philipp Strobl

Thanks Thierry,

this seems to work. Sadly only once. Next day, prpoblem is back.
It is also possible to login through a browser. Afer Login copy the
base-url again in the browser and then sogo-webui loads normal.
This behavior could truly lead to memcached. I also searched at the
memchaed-session, gut with no luck.

I disabled also selinux but without success. Is there something special
with memcached, i could miss through update/upgrade of sogo ?

When i start my computer in the morning, the TB sogo-related calendars
are unavailable.
I can now login to the webUI an get an "object not found". The log shows

Then i reload the browser or hit the base URL again ang i'm logged in.
Now the calendar are available again and it's working for the day.
This behavior is the same for WinXP and Linux as clients. Only IPhone
seems to have no problems here.

Has anyone an idea what "didn't set return value for type 'v'" means or
have a solution for this problem ?
Hope someone can save my xmas ;-)

Hi!

Same problem this morning here.

/etc/init.d/sogo stop; /etc/init.d/memcached stop; /etc/init.d/memcached
start; /etc/init.d/sogo start

solves it!

Have a good X-mas ;-)

2012-12-29 Thread Kenny B
Wow thanks!! I think thats the missing link, I'm getting stuck on the docs
though below. I can run the command but nothing happens.

Then, configure the data sources for SOGo. To do so, start the Funambol
Administration Tool
using the following command :

/opt/Funambol/admin/bin/funamboladmin

Go in Modules > sogo > FunambolSOGoConnector > SOGo SyncSource and add a source
for
each data type you would like to synchronize. For example, to synchronize an
address book,
you would specify:
Source URI: sogo-card
Name: sogo-card
Supported type: text/x-vcard
Database URL: jdbc:postgresql://localhost/sogo
Database username: sogo
Database password: sogo

[SOGo] add auxiliary imap mailbox using template

2012-12-29 Thread mourik jan heupink

Hi all,

We're planning to migrate to SOGo, and I'm currently thinking about the
migration of our imap mailstore.

SOGo will be installed on new hardware, and our current mailserver will
remain online for as long as we choose. Suddenly I realised:

It would be super if we could add an auxiliary imap mailbox for our
soon-to-be-old mailserver. Using the same credentails, only with a
different servername.

That way there would be no need for scripts like imapcopy etc. Old mail
would remain available for as long as we keep the old mailserver online.
And users could simple drag and drop mails/folders they would like to
migrate to the new SOGo server.

As the functionality is basically there using
SOGoMailAuxiliaryUserAccountsEnabled = yes, they only thing required
would be a way to specify a second servername or so.

Wouldn't that be great??! I guess it would ease migrations to SOGo for
MANY people, because installing on new hardware seems like a rather
common scenario...

Or is something like this possible already..?

Mourik Jan

Hi,

By default, Funambol doesn't save data in MySQL or PostGreSQL. I don't
remember the database name... You must configure Funambol to save data in
Mysql. It's a little chapter at the end in Funambol's doc ... ;-)
