[SOGo] ActiveSync in SOGo-2.2.0

Hi,

I tried to setup ActiveSync in SOGo-2.2.0 without success. Contacts,
Calendar and Mail are empty. With Outlook 2013 I got the complete but
empty folder-list. The sogo.log has the following entries:

RE: [SPAM] - Re: [SOGo] After upgrade to 2.2 cannot connect with phone

2014-02-28 Thread Bill Warren
Hi Christian,

With regards to removing exchange profile from smartphone and re-inputing it
in. This did not work as it will not connect to the server now.

I should note that I did the upgrade from Ubuntu updates method. I changed the
myservername to my server's url in etc/apache2/conf.d/Sogo.conf
And I can login using webmail just not smartphone.

The tools I was speaking of is the Webmin from the Sogo Ubuntu virtual
Appliance. I found the webmin files on the Sogo download site but am not sure
how to install them.

I did get the install script and it was how I finally got Sogo working thanks.

We had such problems after our server was down for several hours.
It seem some smartphones do not like that.
Our solution was to delete the SOGo accounts from such smartphones and
configure them again.
This also triggers a complete resync of all data.

If you can't login ssh then something has seriously gone wrong with the
network stack and the box needs to be rebooted for sure.

Re: [SOGo] Active Directory password change

2014-02-28 Thread Steve Boley
First step is to use samba4 samba-tool commands and see if the password
can be changed there.
If you can it's a sogo ldap config option but if you can't it's either a
domain policy or permission off somewhere.

[SOGo] Calendar: How to copy an appointment ?

2014-02-28 Thread Christian
Hi,

it seems that I only can copy appointment from foreign calendars into
mine, but not inside my calendar. Why ?

Sometimes I want to copy an appointment cause I just need to change 'day
and time'.
So a 'copy' fearture would be very nice.

Cheers
 Chris

[SOGo] Appointment view incomplete

2014-02-28 Thread Christian
Hi,

when I click on an appointment, I will get shown a 'view' of this
appointment. And when this appointment is at the bottom of browser
Window it is 'incomplete'.
Please have a look at the attached pic (appointment_view_incomplete.jpg)

Found on Firefox ESR 24.2.0 (openSuSE Linux 11.4) but same is on Firefox
27.0.1 on Windows XP Pro.

[SOGo] Ubuntu 14.04 LTS/Debian Jessie packages

2014-02-28 Thread Ian McMichael
With the beta of the forthcoming Ubuntu 14.04 LTS release now available
and features frozen ahead of release, we are beginning to test our
upgrades from 12.04 LTS. At present there are only SOGo packages built
for 10.04 and 12.04 in the Inverse repositories.

Are 14.04/Trusty packages planned for? Is there any indication when
they might become available for testing?
(I realise the answer will probably contain a Friday! ;-) )

Thanks in advance,

but that gives me only read access.

Thanks, this did fix it.

But this 'VAR' should have a default value even if it is not set in
'sogo.conf', don't you think so ?

Re: [SOGo] Improper installation: No language locale found

2014-02-28 Thread Masood Azizi
Problem solved.

After previous steps, I updated the apt list, and then upgrade firstly via
apt-get, but another error refused sogo to run. Again upgraded via aptitude,
then after upgrade to the latest sogo version, the problem solved.

Thank you Christian

I was a bit unclear here.
What I meant was, that you should configure one test account by hand.
Then backup this user with sogo-tool.
With this you can see what exactly is configured how.

Now you could create a script, which backups all users.
Modifies all backup files according to your needs.
Afterwards restore these settings for all users.
With this approach you have to make sure, that no one changes his
preferences between backup and restore.

You also could use sogo-tool user-preferences to configure the needed bits.
This has the advantage, that you can do so without the need of blocking
changes on the user preferences.

We had such problems after our server was down for several hours.
It seem some smartphones do not like that.
Our solution was to delete the SOGo accounts from such smartphones and
configure them again.
This also triggers a complete resync of all data.

It remains to solve the problem with the creation of auxiliary mailbox
in the user settings.

Please tell me where I could see the source code for "sogo-tool backup"
or restore?
Although, I think that the use of "sogo-tool user-preferences" would be
more correct for this.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
Aleksey Zolotukhin

Hello Aleksey Zolotukhin

Sorry for my english.

I've read worse english :-)

In my organization, each employee has a second mailbox. This mailbox
belongs to a different mail domain.
And stated in the LDAP attribute gosaMailAlternateAddress.
When I configure multiple domain configuration, the user is logged in,
go to the web-interface SOGo, but do not see their alternate mailboxes.

Dovecot2 used as the IMAP server. In its configuration, it is possible
to overwrite the value obtained from LDAP.
Because, to access his mailbox via IMAP user enters their email, along
with the domain, and password of the user account.

What settings can be made in SOGo, so that users can access to their
primary mailboxes and alternate mailboxes?

You have a very special case here.
There is currently no automated way to do so.

If you specify
MailFieldNames = ( mail, gosaMailAlternateAddress );
in your SOGoUserSources, then you could use both email addresses, but
they have to end up in one mailbox.

So you only could add an "auxiliar" mailbox to each user.
In order to do so, you need to enable this with
SOGoMailAuxiliaryUserAccountsEnabled = YES;
in your sogo.conf.
Then you have to set the corresponding values for this second mailbox
for each user.
Normally this is done via webinterface under "Preferences" -->
"IMAP-Accounts".
But you could write a script for this based on sogo-tool backup and restore.

Hope this helps a bit.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack

Hi Christian. Thanks again for your assistance. What you say about the database
makes sense, and is rather what I expected.

The LDAP search returns results fine. The difference in our ACLs is nominal, to
my understanding.

2014-02-28 Thread Ron Scott-Adams
Ah, now I’ve gotten somewhere. I added an MX entry and flipped the domain so I
can test logging in via IMAP. That worked fine, as did SMTP. So my only auth
problem is with the SOGo web interface and any DAV logins. So, we’re dealing
with my SOGo Apache conf now, yeah?

[SOGo] After upgrade to 2.2 cannot connect with phone

2014-02-28 Thread bill
I could login using webmail but the smartphone would no longer connect. I keep
getting could not connect to server. How can I find out why?

Also how can I create the interface with all of the controls and tools from
the Sogo Test ZEG? I have successfully created a working Sogo server on my own
but do not have all of the tools that the vmwareZeg appliance has.
