Re: [SOGo] Updated packages/documentation
Hi Ludovic, fantastic work! Stefan Am 19.11.2014 00:47, schrieb Ludovic Marcotte: Hello, We've just pushed some updates to the SOGo/OpenChange documentation - the latest version is available here: https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/blob/master/Documentation/SOGoNativeOutlookConfigurationGuide.asciidoc Testing would be appreciated - just don't forget to use the nightly builds when doing so. Debian Wheezy, Ubuntu Precise and Trusty work well. CentOS 6 x86_64 has an issue that should be resolved tomorrow. This is probably the last remaining issue before v2.2.10 is out, with a new ZEG based on Trusty. Debian-based distributions won't have OCSManager/RPC Proxy support in v2.2.10 but hopefully that will be resolved days after it's released. Here is the list of changes in v2.2.10: http://sogo.nu/bugs/changelog_page.php?version_id=145 There is also a major overhaul of the Samba/OpenChange packages. [SOGo] strange maildir dovecot sogo syncing ... problem
Hi, we have one user who messed up his account. As we use maildir, this sounded not like a big issue. I moved the users broken maildir, he logged in again by sogo, logged out directory structure is generated. I copied the old mails into his new folder, he logged in again, the mails are moved from new tu cur folder, but ... - sogo says there are 31 mails (should be 177) - sogo dont displays any mail, but I can scroll the inbox and click on some white empty space and get the popup the selected mail dose not exist Question: What might be broken? (Bug, feature,...?) it's sogo 2.2.9, dovecot 2.2.13 Regards and thanks . [SOGo] Carddav not syncing at all
Hey there, I installed SOGO connector 31.0.0 as extension of Thunderbird V 31.2.0 at two machines. Both are running Linux Mint 17, same version of thunderbird. Sync-Server is an owncloud-Server within my home network. On one machine sync works well, on the other machine I'm not even asked for a password - nothing happens when I start sync. I completely reinstalled thunderbird, no success... Any suggestion - I have no more idea... thanks, helmut -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Dovecot LDAP config with samba 4
Hi all, I am trying to play with Dovecot to connect to Samba 4 LDAP so I would later use SOGo over that but seem that I have some issue woth config. I am playing with different configs, this is the last one: user_filter = (mail=%u) pass_attrs = uid=user, userPassword=password pass_filter = (mail=%u) Error: result: uid missing; userPassword missing Looks like Samba 4 does not have uid? Any good configuration for Dovecot? Thx, Jan -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Any good configuration for Dovecot? Samba4 is a LDAP server so you can have any attributes that schema supports. “uid” is not populated by default, what you are probably after is “samaccountname” Now, with dovecot you can do LDAP authentication two ways: - password lookups http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/LDAP/PasswordLookups - authentication binds http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/LDAP/AuthBinds Myself I prefer auth binds - dovecot tries to bind to ldap server (samba4) with provided username and password and if succeeds considers a user authenticated My config is as simple as: (/etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf.ext) hosts = localhost auth_bind = yes auth_bind_userdn = cn=%u,cn=Users,dc=mydomain,dc=local ldap_version = 3 base = cn=Users,dc=mydomain,dc=local Adjust domain components to your needs. Hope this helps, Regards Martin. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
