For now I'm using Thunderbird 31.2.0, Lightning 3.3.1, Connector

Can you see your calendar and all events in the SOGo web interface?

Yes! And I can edit and move them.

There is no such thing as SOGo 3.5 or 4.0.
SOGo server version is at 2.2.9a currently.
Please check your version by opening Preferences -- General and
provide the given SOGo Version:.

Oops! I wanted to tell Zentyal 3.5/4.0 (because i use zentyal to run
SOGo).

My SOGo version is 2.2.7.

Also give us your settings in Integrator.

In Integrator, i've only modified extensions.rdf like this:
isi:updateURL=https://mail.domain.com/plugins/updates.php?plugin=%ITEM_ID%amp;version=%ITEM_VERSION%amp;platform=%PLATFORM%;

Hi everyone,

I can't edit events in my calendar with Thunderbird (31/24/17).
It worked fine after the initial configuration and before the first
restart of TB.

My Thunderbird configuration :
 -u...@domain.com  as mail account
 - Lightning
 - SOGo Connector
 - SOGo Integrator

Which Versions of Thunderbird, Lightning, Connector and Integrator are
you using?

In my logs, i see 404 errors on propfind requests (after restarting TB) :

 PROPFIND
/SOGo/dav/u...@domain.com/Calendar/user2_personal/-41b6-be45-721c09bcb608
HTTP/1.1
404

I can't edit my personal events too, it's not a shared calendar
permissions problem.

This is no permission problem.
The above URL is not correct.
There should be 5 hash blocks seperated by dashes for the event, but in
your URL there are only 4 of them (compare with the one below).

Before the first restart of TB:

 192.168.94.33 - - [14/Nov/2014:08:49:33 +] PROPFIND
/SOGo/dav/u...@domain.com/Calendar/user2_personal/4355a5e5-0fc8-4db9-8e2b-dda680d5c492
HTTP/1.1 207 1327 - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0)
Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.2.0 Lightning/3.3.1
 192.168.94.33 - - [14/Nov/2014:08:49:34 +] PUT
/SOGo/dav/user%40domain.com/Calendar/user2_personal/4355a5e5-0fc8-4db9-8e2b-dda680d5c492
HTTP/1.1 204 263 - Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:31.0)
Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.2.0 Lightning/3.3.1

As you can see here, there are the 5 hash blocks, so these are valid URLs.

Events in calendars come from an ics file.

Irrelevant, as you don't get the content at all.

Can you see your calendar and all events in the SOGo web interface?

Tested on SOGo 3.5 and 4.0.

 Hello,

 We've just pushed some updates to the SOGo/OpenChange documentation -
 the latest version is available here:

 https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/blob/master/Documentation/SOGoNativeOutlookConfigurationGuide.asciidoc

 Testing would be appreciated - just don't forget to use the nightly
 builds when doing so.

 Debian Wheezy, Ubuntu Precise and Trusty work well. CentOS 6 x86_64
 has an issue that should be resolved tomorrow. This is probably the
 last remaining issue before v2.2.10 is out, with a new ZEG based on
 Trusty. Debian-based distributions won't have OCSManager/RPC Proxy
 support in v2.2.10 but hopefully that will be resolved days after it's
 released.

 Here is the list of changes in v2.2.10:

 http://sogo.nu/bugs/changelog_page.php?version_id=145

 There is also a major overhaul of the Samba/OpenChange packages.

 Thanks,

[SOGo] strange maildir dovecot sogo syncing ... problem

2014-11-19 Thread Götz Reinicke - IT Koordinator
Hi,

we have one user who messed up his account. As we use maildir, this
sounded not like a big issue.

I moved the users broken maildir, he logged in again by sogo, logged out
directory structure is generated.

I copied the old mails into his new folder, he logged in again, the
mails are moved from new tu cur folder, but ...

- sogo says there are 31 mails (should be 177)
- sogo dont displays any mail, but I can scroll the inbox and click on
some white empty space and get the popup the selected mail dose not exist

Question: What might be broken? (Bug, feature,...?)

it's sogo 2.2.9, dovecot 2.2.13

Regards and thanks . Götz

 Any suggestions?

 Use our Wheezy nightly repos for openchange packages. Install Samba 4.1
 from backpports and then, SOGo/SOPE/OpenChange/wbxml2 from our nightly repo.

[SOGo] Carddav not syncing at all

2014-11-19 Thread hfw
Hey there,

I installed SOGO connector 31.0.0 as extension of Thunderbird V 31.2.0 at two
machines.
Both are running Linux Mint 17, same version of thunderbird.

Sync-Server is an owncloud-Server within my home network.

On one machine sync works well, on the other machine I'm not even asked for a
password - nothing happens when I start sync.

I completely reinstalled thunderbird, no success...

Any suggestion - I have no more idea...

thanks, helmut

[SOGo] Dovecot LDAP config with samba 4

2014-11-19 Thread Jan Kraljič
Hi all,

I am trying to play with Dovecot to connect to Samba 4 LDAP so I would
later use SOGo over that but seem that I have some issue woth config.

I am playing with different configs, this is the last one:

user_filter = (mail=%u)
pass_attrs = uid=user,userPassword=password
pass_filter = (mail=%u)

Error: result: uid missing; userPassword missing

Looks like Samba 4 does not have uid?

Any good configuration for Dovecot?

Thx,
Jan

Samba4 is a LDAP server so you can have any attributes that schema supports.
“uid” is not populated by default, what you are probably after is
“samaccountname”

Now, with dovecot you can do LDAP authentication two ways:

- password lookups http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/LDAP/PasswordLookups
- authentication binds http://wiki2.dovecot.org/AuthDatabase/LDAP/AuthBinds

Myself I prefer auth binds - dovecot tries to bind to ldap server (samba4) with
provided username and password and if succeeds considers a user authenticated

My config is as simple as:

(/etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf.ext)

hosts = localhost
auth_bind = yes
auth_bind_userdn = cn=%u,cn=Users,dc=mydomain,dc=local
ldap_version = 3
base = cn=Users,dc=mydomain,dc=local

Adjust domain components to your needs.

Hope this helps,

Regards
Martin.
