Re: [SOGo] Activesync and plain text mails
Hi, is there someone on the list who can test this? -- Kind Regards, Met vriendelijke groeten, Meilleures Salutations, Tommie Van Mechgelen ~ don't believe the hype ~ On Saturday, 03 January, 2015 15:59 CET, Tommie Van Mechgelen m...@tommie.it wrote: Hi, I have installed latest version of SOGo and everything looks great. Also when a mail is sent from android through activesync, the mail is sent as plain/text and there seems to be no setting on the android device to change this. I am using android 4.4. Any thoughts on this? -- Kind Regards, Met vriendelijke groeten, Meilleures Salutations, Tommie Van Mechgelen ~ don't believe the hype ~ -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

I am experiencing the same thing on Android 5.0.1. It looks like a CR/LF line ending issue to me. I do have another issue where the plain text body part of some messages is missing completely when sync'd via ActiveSync. I'll try and hook out some examples and post them here when I get a moment... It would be great if somehow plain text messages could be rendered in a fixed pitch font so that columns display properly too. K9-Mail on Android allows this but it may well be a client side thing. I guess it depends if there is any indication of content type in ActiveSync and how each client interprets it? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Hi, were you able to find a setting to send out mails as HTML from android? It seems there is no setting anymore to change this. Also I have the same problem as you regarding missing text body parts. They are sometimes completely empty when using ActiveSync. -- Kind Regards, Met vriendelijke groeten, Meilleures Salutations, Tommie Van Mechgelen ~ don't believe the hype ~ -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
