The way to handle that is definitively
1 attribute for the mail (unique) and not multivalued
and another attribute for the alias (alias, proxyaddress) a name something like
that
in your transport configuration in postfix you have to make your LDAP filter to
search for the mail

I was moving roughly 1000 emails from an IMAP account on Exchange 2003
to an IMAP account on SOGo (Postfix).
At the time I was doing the transfer, the following error showed up, and
my Outlook 2003 (the same account as the IMAP) disconnected from the
